I'm going to try and make it. We've got a board meeting that morning, but I should be able to leave around lunchtime. I just hope nothing comes up for Saturday because my plans are to stay in DFW to visit old friends.

FYI.... I have shared this meet on the LXForum to see if we could get a good size turn out. Only about three people have said they will try but a guy I know in Houston is going to try to make it. He has a SRT8 Magnum and it is bad arse!! He might even have his nitrous installed!

From what I've read on the web, Kellers is a pretty interesting place to visit - both for food and views. I'm pumping her w/medicine but even if she feels better this may be the 2 week crap that’s going around and I don’t want to expose others to it. As you know kids this age, 5, are exposed to various virus and germs at school.

I’m bummed that she’s sick and feeling a little ill myself because I probably will not make the meet.

I will be kidless today. The middle one has the crud that has been going around. First the baby, then the oldest one, then me, now the middle kiddo, next is the wife, then we start the whole thing again... Oh, the joys that children bring to the mix...

Seriously, I hope she gets better soon. It only has been lasting for 24-48 hours for us, which is better than the last round of strep...

But I did get to open up Rob's SRT in front of the gang. Dam, I love those Zoomers. Props to Rob for having a badass car. And thanks for letting me drive it. It was appreciated.

A good turn out. About 14-15 including a few Hemi Magnums. Three Mangos, a Ram and I had the only Inferno. No Bananas though.

It was great meeting you guys and gal. Let's do it again soon.

Thanks for the thoughts! The kido is sound asleep now and I'm cleaning up the garage so I can start next mods soon.

After moving the GF in I was reminded how much stuff comes w/one of them. How many pairs of shoes can a woman can have? I lost count. It's a trade off... I get to mod and she shops for shoes and clothes LOL

I was looking forward to meeting other members, seeing their rides up close (SRT8, Magnum, RAM, 300 and other Chargers), Mods they have done, tips-n-tricks and general fun-food-n-drinks.

I thought it was a really good turn out. Lots of folks talking cars... not a bad Friday night. Sorry about the smoke when I was leaving. Thats the "Full Off" for the SRT8 for ya...

Nice to have 2 SRT8's parked side by side with ALL those Mangos around. Thanks also to the Mangum's and others who were there. Pretty nice group of folks. Great to see some of the mods people have done and hear the Zoomers, Flow Masters, and resonator "free" exhausts.

The food wasn't bad either...

After listening to you speedsters, I could hardly keep my foot out of it going home. I'm not a speedster at all. I don't think I've made it up to 90 yet (just a wus about getting caught), but I'll have to find me an open strech of road and see what the 3.5 will do. I'm not into racing or high performance, more into appeance and sound.

i'm the one with the ram... nah its not tricked out or anything... just have 22's on it with a flowmaster dual exhaust, i sold some of the stuff i had on it before, smoked taillights and 3rd break light, my sound system and volant cai, so later i can get the charger :happy:

Had loads of fun last night guys. Did feel a little bit of the od man out having a Mag. Great turn out. I have been to two other M&G in the area and this one had the biggest turn out by far. I think I counted 12 rides! Awesome!!! Looking forward to the next one.

Had a lot of fun there. I made it back home safe with 2 minutes to spare for getting to work, not bad for the 250+ mile trip.
Anyhow, had a lot of fun. Enjoyed putting faces and actual names with usernames. I also really liked the fact that I got to hear the different mod (exhaust and intake) that I am considering later on down the line.

It was good to meet everyone and get to see the Daytona's in person and the srt's, and get to here the srt with zoomers, and the srt without zoomers leaving a smoke trail. Well anyhow, it was a fun evening and I look forward to doing it again soon.

Thanks Mango, hopefully next time you will make it to the meet. Unfortunately i probably wont be getting my charger untill sometime between aug and oct. Have to take care of some things you know. If the next one is before then i'll be there again. Should be on a nice sunny day
