how much power are you looking to pull, and where are you running it to?

When I mounted my Cobra radar detector, I could get 12v from the overhead console, but it wouldn't power the unit up. I had to come down the passenger A pillar and grab the wires going to the cig lighter. It switches on and off with the car.

it would be on the driver side

well you could still come out of the cig lighter wires and go behind the coin/ash tray, along the driver kick panel over to the A pillar.

Pink Wire With The White Stripe At The Key. It Carry's A 50 Amp Load But Only Use's 30 Amps So You Have A Spare 20 Amps Of Draw On That Line Left To Use. Make Sure You Use A Fuse On Your After Market Part.
