Doing mods rock!! Man I miss the modding Charger days. I am jonesin' to mod up a Charger.
There are huge amounts of Chargers here, but just not all that freindly.
Maybe I am just going to fast for them to see me? Or the "smoke screen" mode in my car has me covered? LOL!

Other than that it is going well.

COngrats to you how easy was the install on those cutouts? I've been thinking about getting them.

it was fairly easy. there was one cross road that we came to. depending on where you want them, pre-cat or after-cat, clearence might be an issue. that is to say wether or not the headers need to be droped for the welding. it depends on which way you go. i went after-cats so when and if i do headers there won't be that much rework on them. all in all it was a great install, ofcourse bruce is awsome so hopefully you got someone knowledgable working with you getting it done.

I am days aways from buying zoomers for my 5.7. I was thinking of adding E-cutouts as well. I don't know if its overboard but I think with the cutouts you will have the ability to tune in an even louder pop & tone when desired. My question is who is supplying everyone these cutouts and for how much? do you install just one or two? I would assume two before the x pipe correct? I am not a pro at exhaust but I know the basics... I just want to know how much to by and how much to install on top of the $920.00 Zoomers if I want the works? OK one last question.... Any local muffler shop or custom shop will install the e-cuts correct? there is no legal issue with these is there? (noise pollution)

well unless you install the cutouts pre-cats you aren't really gaining that much, as previously stated earlier. if you did it would be like having your headers drop to nothing and there would be a gain. post cats, it doesn't really make any sense to get an aftermarket exhuast unless you are shaving weight.
i ordered mine from DMHperformance.com at about $350-$375. keep an eye out for a group buy. i ordered 2 for that and it depends on your mechcanic about install. if he needs to drop the whole exhaust to cut and weld or if he can do it in place, as that adds labor time. a muffler shop could do it, but you should really get a mechanic you trust to do the work, if specially if you are going to do more mods to the car.
as far as legality, shut your good. no leaks and you will pass inspection. depending on how far you open them, they can be pretty loud. i don't know how the LEO's are up there but they might hassel you if they are having a bad day. so far i have only had compliments from them and no tickets, but i am smart about it. i don't ride passed them with alot of throttle. i hope this helps you, if you have anymore questions just ask and i am sure we can point you in the right direction.

OH YEAH http://quicktimeperformance.com also makes cutouts and they make a digital guage to see just how wide open they are. i went with dmh for the low profile cutouts so i wouldn't have any clearence issues. also if someone looked under there they wouldn't see the pipe hanging down. i would have to tell them where to look. another plus for fooling someone.
