Our (my) newest Dodge, Meet "Larry"

The years before I was deployed, I would use our family van as a truck, so now that a few of the kids are grown up we don't need our family van anymore, so I went out and got me a truck! It is a few years older than I wanted, but I got a great deal!

1997 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 Laramie regular cab, long bed. Full power and leather inside.
318 motor, it's gunna be a godd truck for what I want to do with it.

I wanted a truck for a truck.
Future plans.
Vent visors, roll bar, grill guard, mean teeth for the front grill, Baja lights, gun rack (I don't even own a gun for it :D), NASCAR #9 window decal, 3" suspension lift.
Mods done so far: added Hula girl, fuzzy dice (not in pictures). Kenwood MP3/Ipod/USB deck and put Rockford speakers in, these was from the van and Brandon (my son) and I took 'em out of the van and put into Larry.

Feros said that he needed to "Redneck" his new truck. What else should he do? What about a headache rack and bed rails...and a 10" drop rear bumper...brush guard...CB and dual whip antennas...etc. :D

The magnet type antenna should work fine. I used to use one on my 96 Ram.

I use one on my D50 Ram with a 200W linear...Need to put one of those lights that light up on the ant. when you key down......:)

I looked high and low for my CB , asked the wife if she had seen it, she told me just before the move she gave it away. (insert very mad face here).
I may have has it for years and years, but it was a Cobra and set up for the antenna that went with it. :(
