UNREAL!!!!!! we had 27 cars in the Irvine caravan down to SD. When we pulled into the rest area we parked, I got out of the car and couldn't believe how many cars we had. On the way to D&B rps called and said there were 20+ cars already at 11:40am. I counted a total of 64 cars, but additonal cars showed up after so I would say 70 or so would be the final number. There were 14 SRT8's in the gruop including 2 Chargers. We really just ahd a gret time Pictures should be up soon.

It was a great time and AWESOME to see all these cars in Jan.!!
I think that we were rolling 25+ on the 5 South and one Bue SRT-4 that should have some awesome video!!!

It wasn't to cold and it started to lightly rain around 2:30PM.

Can't wait for MARCH!!! 200+ cars for sure!!!!!

Thanks for everyone coming down. At least the weather held up till the end. You guys sure have some sweet cars and have really done a lot of specialty work to them. Thanks for great time Fatchance. It was my first show. I got alot more ideas now on what mods I want. I realy liked the 22's but I'll go with the 20's. One of them for sure. My car ran great on it's first road trip. 584 miles one way. The trip down took 10 hours because of LA/SD. The trip back was considerbly shorter. 7.5 hours back up. Of course when I left for home it was 5:00 am. Good ride though and plan on making the trip in march.

I'm happy to hear you and your wife had a great time, that's what we are all about. This particular event began with rps232 over at the lxforums site. I got with him and the rest is history. I am planning a March meet with HEMEEE and a few others and will have details up soon. I will say that I expect 200+ cars for that event. We will have members from Canada, Nevada, Arizona, Northern California and where ever else in attendance. The last Major event we had over a 100 cars and just an awesome time.

An open apology to all the recent San Diego M&G attendees:

We would like to make all of you aware that an injustice has been done and offer our belated apologies to each one of you. It was apparent early on that something was not right, but we decided to see how things played out in the end before bringing it to the attention of our forums co-op.

As you know, Htoudiee, from Chargerforums.com, volunteered to photograph and videotape our event. There were several public posts, and quite a few PMs between us personally about this, but at no point were we ever made aware that he had his own hidden agenda and was NOT doing this in the spirit of giving back to our community!

Htoudiee never once mentioned:
• that he was launching his own forums
• that he would be placing business cards promoting that forum on each of our cars
• that he would be using our threads and our forums for his own ulterior motives and agenda in promoting his own forum
• that we would have to visit his unaffiliated forum to view his pics
• or that the video would not be freely available to the members that made it possible

As you can imagine, we are extremely upset about this turn of events and we wanted to make certain that all of our participants understand that we not only had no knowledge of this beforehand, but that we will not tolerate this kind of behavior in the future. Our goal is simple… to bring you the best possible events in an honest and straightforward manner. We will work together closely with the other members of the “committee” to make certain that this sort of underhandedness never again takes place at one of our events.

To John and all respecfull members of 300C Forums, LX and Charger Forums,
I feel real sad to be talked about like that but I completely understand all your concerns and understand why it's been confusing. Please blame me but let me explain:

This simply is a mis-understanding. By no means the moparforums is a competitor, nor is it there to take other forum's places whatsoever.

Let me mention here that I would like to say a big Thank you to all you guys for letting us be in the meet. It meant alot.

John, I have talked to you before and I got to know your intention for the meet and I thought you got to know mine as well. Please, let me explain more clear. THIS was NOT a WebSite promotion thing for moparforums. I had the idea of posting the video on our forum because the video is big, alot of bandwidth will be required. Before even STARTING to take the video I came to talk to you but you were busy. The intention as mentioned before was to HELP getting a video for YOUR meet (it was not our - we were glad to be there as guests) and host it on the site. The DVD cannot be free, NOT because of the video but just because of the price for DVD and I think this is understandable but whoever wants can download the video (Full and 3 min version - which ever you would like)

One thing about the business cards you mentioned, which we had doubts on doing... The cards were placed simply to make people remember the site so they can get the video from. A near 20MB video cannot be hosted on SF or any other site and not affect the mentioned site's performance. We host it there just because moparforums does not have a lot of heavy traffic so you could download it instead of all the links we could get that would expire in a week or two.

About Hidden agenda, There WAS NO hidden agenda. I'm more busy taking care of all other things as all other folks here to think of such thing than hidden agendas and spend close to $50 on stuff to roll with a community and then advertise a business and look like a 18 year old teen. This is/was NOT our intention.

To all CH/LX Forum members: Please do not take this the wrong way. I have been in forums and cars let's say not for a short time. This again was not a "Come see the video and BUY IT FROM US" sort of thing. Please understand!

This was an act based on true will to help and also enjoy seeing the cars and it is very important to me and I will make every effort to resolve any misunderstandings.
