I bought tickets to the AUTO CLUB 500 in Fontana. Is there any other forum people going to the race?

I'll be there. Driving down from Northern Ca. I've never been a big Kahne fan, but I like that car. I wish Joe Gibbs would have run Chargers. I'd love to see one with the #20.

Man thats a long drive. I'm still debating which track is better. Sears point or Fontana.

If you and the misses want to go to RIR, let me know and I'll see if I can add another room on to my reservations.

No. Parking not so. My tix's have a B-fast with Jimmy (48). Its a Q&A period. Then a pit pass. All the stuff I didn't do last year. I paid a lot for the race. I wish i get to see it

So nice. I don't what is better. Watching the race on TV or at the Track?
I love them both. What is better? I don't know.

Laying on my couch vs. sucking up race car exhaust? hmmm...

Sounds pretty even to me!

Nothing beats the experience / atmosphere of a NASCAR race!

I imagine that watching a race at a larger track is more difficult...since you can't see the entire track. That's why I like going to the short tracks (NOTE: I have't been to one of the larger tracks yet). I have season ticket to Richmond...Racing Perfection. :D

Hey! Dover is racing perfection, buddy! (Well from the VIP lounge it is)

I went to Talledega (pre-restrictor plate). Wow! That place is awe inspiring.

Went to New Hampshire last year. Really REALLY good track.

Also been to Charlotte, and Richmond. Love them both.

Pocono was my first race, back in 1974.

Ultimately, I heart belongs to Watkins Glen.

Don't you watch the commercials? And look at their website: http://www.rir.com/. RIR is TRUE racing perfection. :D

I've only been to 2 tracks...RIR and Martinsville. Our plan is to hit them all...after we retire.

So, how late did everyone stay up last night in hopes of catching it. I was up until 1:00, napped and checked back at 2:00.

I'm really tired today for some reason:confused:

Nice pics, thanks for posting. I went to bed around 10, couldn't stay awake to see what they decided to do. Found out the "flipper" won the race, did he do his infamous backflip when he won?

Yes, he did, as always. My boy Kasey came in 9th. He pretty much stayed in the top 10 all during the race. :)

I'm glad to see Kasey running well these first 2 races. I just hope he can maintain that level of performance.

Yesterday, I received my Action Racing Collectables Platinum Series Kasey Kahne #9 Budweiser Dodge Charger (1:24 scale). It is sweet! And it even comes with it's own car cover. :D It's 1 of "only" 24,600 made. :D

Kasey was on 3rd, 5th, and 6th place right before they cancelled the sunday race. I thought he was going to stay 3rd place, but yellow flags keeps on showing.

I waited until 11:15 Pm pacific time in the grandstands Sunday for the race. Everyone was angry when they started rolling the cars in the garage. 15 mins after they started rolling cars in, they announced they were cancelling the race and postponing it till Monday at 10am. Came back and watched Monday. Nice day. Then drove 500 miles to get home. had a great time , the kids loved it...when it was dry. It was their first race and they got to miss a day of school.
