Hi everyone. Well, remember me? Joking aside, I wanted to apologize to everyone who may have noticed that I haven't been around the past two and a half weeks. Only three of you noticed I wasn't here? Wait, I said joking aside, didn't I.

So, here I am. Finally returning home to the family and I've got to say that I've really missed you guys. Some of you guys have speculated that I was gone with my never-unexpected military commitments but for once, that's not the case. I haven't really been able to get on the forum since right before Christmas due to what Santa brought me this year. A really bad sickness. I've been quite ill the past couple of weeks and it's caused me to be just overwhelmed with everything to the point where I've been at work for usually 12 to 14 hours a day (a lot of you guys have caught me on our chat feature at 9, 10, 11 o'clock at night so you know already) but honestly, I've just not been able to get nearly what needed to be done in order for me to get online, especially with the busiest January to hit the performance parts market in years taking place. Other aspects of HHP such as order shipments haven't been affected but there have been extremely slow response time from me to you guys over the past couple of weeks. Sure, everyone gets sick and we've all been through it, but honestly from my position (speaking as your vender rather than your friend for once) I screwed up. You guys are why I'm here and I owe all of you so much more. I know a few of you guys are pretty annoyed with me over my absence and trust me, I understand why. So, to the entire family, please accept my sincere apologies.

Here's to a great 2006!

On the lighter side of things, we're busy working on some great new additions to our line up. Expanding our HEMI performance lines and we're going to have some very exciting parts hitting the market in the next months. Yes, you know that the tuners will be available soon. We can't wait either. Underdrive pulleys by summer! Plus, we've finally put together a complete CAM kit with tuning that will hit our store within the next week or two. Also, get ready for all the great 2006 events we'll be hosting and supporting across the country. From Meet 'N Greets to track events to dyno days. 2006 is going to be AWESOME!!!

Thanks everyone for your time!

Joshua, HHP

Disclaimer: HHP will be closed Thursday, January 12th through Monday January 16th. Delays caused by this closure cannot be blamed on Joshua taking a much needed vacation while the remaining staff of HHP attend an automotive parts show. January is supposed to be an extremely slow month in the performance parts business. This memo did not make it out this year for unknown reasons. We blame global warming. No, not the French this time. Please do your part and sponsor an LX Vender. For just pennies a day you can pay for them to take more vacations... we mean, pay their doctor bills. Yes, doctor bills.

Apology accepted! Life is complicated. Glad to have you around. I personally have had a great response from you and appreciate your hard work to help us spend money!

Looking forward to whatever else you have coming out for our Chargers.

First he plays hookey for 2 1/2 weeks and then takes a vacation... Heck, I want his job ;)

Hey, just kidding.... Hope you got over your sickness. As long as you are not coughing up any feathers I think you will be alright :)

I can't wait for the Tuners to come out. Been holding off buying a Jet chip for the tuner which I know will be a lot better. How about a group buy ;)
The cam kits sound great as well but I don't know if I want to mess with the internals on a brand new car with less than a 1000 miles on it. Maybe in a couple of years.

Well, thanks for letting us hear from you and have a nice vacation...... :D

The cam deal is almost ready... But it won't work with the SC tuners incase you were wondering.

Josh..are you saying that I cannot install the cam if i am using the SC tuner or that the SC tuner will not make adjustments for the cam?

I am. The cam will involve seperate tuning of your computer. This tuning is not expected to mate with the Superchips tune. The cam tuning will be a performance tune it itself, though, giving you the same performance gains as the tuner so you're not losing out on anything.

OK..I am not planning on doing a cam for at least 6 mos (unless GoDaddy gets the Super Charger and says he's coming to TN). If I bought the SC tuner how will that affect future tuning for a cam?

We're hoping that dealers will eventually be given the software to adjust the tunes and write our own tunes and put them on the tuners. This will allow us to compensate for the cam's needed adjustments. Unfortunately, nothing is set in stone just yet nor is there any timeframes for me to give out.
