Bassani SS exhaust system for 2006 Charger. 200 total miles on system. Sounds good, but the wife does not like it at hwy speed, I didn't mind. Still have the original packaging. Looking for $500 plus shipping or best offer. I live north of Milwaukee WI.

Sorry to hear your wife's not happy with the highway sound. I guess I can cross the Bassani System off my list of choices. My Blasti'n Bob system has an objetionable sound over 67MPH. I am going to have to change the suitcase for something and/or add glass packs to the ends. Driving by myself I turn up the music, with other people in the car the drone is anoying

jmason3749,
before give that up, take to a exhaust shop about quieting it down some. I would think some glasspacks would do the trick.

I would rather try to sell it, than hack it up and spend more money on it. It looks great on the car.

Vortex muffler cones. I cannot say enough about them. I have a 98 viper gts that I converted to side exhaust with borla mufflers, it screamed and actually hurt my left ear after awhile. I removed the tips, slid the muffler cones in and voila, much quieter. Instead of taking a beating on your exhaust, this might be worth a try. Commonly available, try summit.
I have since switched my exhaust back to rear exit. I have added b and b headers, removed the cats, kept the borlas and custom fabbed 3 inch pipe exiting the rear. The car sounds like a 38ft fountain fever with triple 502's. It screams!

Anyone tried Dynomax mufflers?
I had them on my 1992 blazer and it sounded good for a V6?
