I had previously bought some steering wheel controls off ebay. They were rolling around my trunk for a while, so I finally installed them tuesday.
Install was pretty easy, but does anyone know what the empty wiring socket is in the middle of the steering wheel.
The wheel control harness has two plugs. A little black one with 2 pins and a larger white plug with I believe 3 pins. The car already had two plugs being used already. There is a small one that I believe goes to the horn, and a larger one that goes to the air bag. There is one not being used right in the middle, its a small black plug but it does not seem to fit the small black plug from the controls harness. What is that supposed to be for?
not asking if they will work, I know the evic issue, just wondering where the wires go and what that empty one is supposed to be for.
