Once again, our buddies at First Team Dodge in Chesapeake, VA have agreed to open the shop on a Sunday (when things are normally closed down) to facilitate a Mopar get together...talking about popping hoods, going through parts catalogs, checking out peoples mods, etc...a general meet and greet.
All interested mopar heads are invited (nothing vehicle specific about this.. all are welcome!). Only thing is space is gonna be limited. So, if ya wanna come, great! Reply to this thread early! (we don't want to shut down the dealership cause no one can come in or out.)
Preliminary date is now set as March 12 (2nd Sunday in March).
Make your plans ... Hope to see a good turn out.. this will be a Very cool event. (They've also informed me they intend to have a decent breakfast spread compliments of the First Team Crew.)
And who knows. Maybe we can head somewhere and catch the race afterwords (hint, hint...Mike ).
So, who's commin'?

I will be there. Hopefully i will have my SRT8 Charger by then, I ordered it from First Team. If you need a good Tech one of my long time friends is a lead tech @ First team Dodge, I let him do any warranty work or work that i do not want to do to my SRT4. He is a excellent tech and s really into all aspects of Dodge performance.

I talked to the guys at First Team tonight, and they are expecting upwards of 50 people at the March 12th GTG. Should be a good time!

As long as Im not on call I should be there. If my wife has to work I will drop her off and then swing by a lil bit late. She won't drive the old neon and I sure as heck don't want to drive it to a Charger GTG lol.
It isn't fast, it isn't pretty but it was fun running it at 75 and 80 when I was living in Maryland.

What's up, folks, ChargerForums rookie here and a new proud owner of a Red '06 Charger RT!
I just want to say WASSUP to the local Charger owners in Tidewater/Hampton Roads. I myself a local guy from the P-Town/Western Branch area. I'll try to stop by 1st Team Dodge this Sunday to check out some of the other rides. I bought mine there and love it!
To get to 1st Team Dodge, Take the Portsmouth Blvd exit off of I-664 in Chesapeake (the Western Branch area.) It's across from Chesapeake Square Mall. It's in the same lot as 1st Team Toyota.

Thanks, man!
My mods so far... window tint (VA legal), Motorola Bluetooth Hands-Free Kit, and auto daytime lights, and SilverStar headlight bulbs. The mods I'm currently working on are HID headlights (6000k), amp/subwoofer install (Alpine & Infinity), and Viper Security/Remote Start.

I may have a surprise for you guys. One of my pals with a very low mileage (as in under 1,900 miles) Woodward Edition Prowler may be attending.

He has the matching trailer but I'm not sure he'll go to all the trouble to bring that as well. Weather permitting he'll be there.

Well it turned out to be a great time and I really enjoyed meeting everyone.
BTW who was the Chesapeake cop after? I saw a silver Magnum tearing up the street and he looked ready to bite, was that Hemi Grrl he was after?

For all of you who weren't able to make it out to the GTG at First Team Dodge in Chesapeake, VA, I am truly sorry. You missed a great time! We had a wonderful turnout, great food (provided by the First Team crew), and a beautiful day for getting together like this. I'm sure that others who attended can add more about it, but I wanted to just say THANK YOU to Dave, Tina, Becky, all the service guys (sorry, I didn't get everyone's name), and to First Team for hosting the event. They truly went above and beyond.

FYI. I talked with Dave at First Team yesterday, and he said that they are planning on hosting another GTG sometime in June or July. He said that it will most likely be held on a Saturday afternoon, after the dealership closes, and they will have a cookout, etc. for everyone and will be able to stay around longer.
Stand by for more details.
