Got a KENWOOD DNX7100

Ok so "santa" got me my Nav. I got the Kenwood Dnx7100 was hoping for the avic d3...but got wayyyyyy better.lol This thing is sooooo cool. It plays DVDS(defeted to play while in drive), Ipod(including video), Sat.(XM/Sirius) it shows me traffic jams. Bluetooth, Backup cam...I LOVE IT!!!!!! i could go on and on..
$1499 for radio
$400 for Sat.
$250 for camera
$250 for Ipod harness
$300 dor bluetooth
$200 install
Grand total $2899!

Yea..i know but when you play with tthe both of them side by side youd see. You can can run several diff. things at the same time without slowing the process down. If you put them side by side there alot more clear. I dont really care..i love this thing haha

X2. Yeah I hope you didn't pay that much either thats way too much money.

You can get all of that at Crutchfield for $1,544.95 and free shipping tax maybe about $120 on top of that.

And I even think that they are overpriced.

This would have been more reasonable if it was a regular stereo shop.

I was interested in the same exact setup except for the Sat radio unit, but they were going to install my Python paging alarm with remote start for $1,600 out the door.

I got my stuff from crutchfield during a special and i paid around $1100 ish. and that was all the stuff he has..

he has $250 for an ipod harness ???? a pioneer ipod harness is $30 on pioneer's website.

He has $400 for sat. on pioneer's website there listed as $100.

I hate to see someone get worked over like this.... that would be over a grand for other mods....

I really hope he was just putting down the retail prices for a show off factor.... and not actual prices.

I looked into gettin the DNX7100, its a great unit don't get me wrong. But i decided to get the Avic-Z2. Love the fact it has a built in harddrive. Its so convenient. You pop in a cd and never have to put it in again. Plus i got a smoking deal on it. I paid $900 for it :D

Uhhh just curious as to why he would need earplugs? I heard no mention of subs, amps or speakers. Now get in my car in about a month and you'll need more than earplugs. I'm gettin a panty shker system installed :D right now its just right but i wanna be beating down the block :P

if you want a deal go on ebay. SOmetimes it's better to pay full price and get a full warranty. Just do your home work before you start your system. Take the time 2 do it right
