Is that the carbon fiber trunk lid and then you taped off the carbon and painted the rest of the trunk lid? Also, did you just paint the sides of the tails as well. It almost looks like an aftermarket spoiler is also on the car. :cool:

Yes that is a CF trunk! Yes it was masked and painted :) I must of done it right since the C3 guys copied it for the sema cars biters :P.

Wait for SF theres some more changes :)

On a grip note. My other cars parts are starting to arrive and soon I will be putting the Bee back together again. So I went to my painters shop to pick up my grip fascia and start getting it ready for install. He was kind enough to store it for me, at his shop, for the last month.

I had my powder coater shoot the mesh grill inserts in Det. yellow. I got them installed and then trimmed the excess mesh around the grills with a dremel tool.

Then I made cuts in various areas all around the edges of the mesh with my dremel tool. So I could fold over the remaining edges of the mesh.

This will ensure the mesh will not get in the way of anything when I go to install the fascia onto the car.

Mesh inserts installed and my new fog lights with yellow rock blocker over the lens. This grip fascia is ready to be installed now. Just got to install the HID kits and halo headlights first before sliding the fascia on the car.
