Hate to burst your bubble, but there are 5.7 RTs that are doing 12.50. Keep working at it and it will go down. I have never been to the track yet so it would probabbly happen to me too. Of course I would expect better that 12.5with my set up.
Good luck.

Why would my bubble be burst ?? I wasn't crowing, just happy that I FINALLY beat my best time which I ran before I ever touched the car..I wasn't implying that I have the fastest car by any means.. I'm sure there are 5.7's running much quicker, but I'm sure they have quite a bit of time and $$$ spent on them to get them into that 12 second club..
Your set up sounds mean, how much do you have invested in it and what do you think she'll run ?

Hay KENNY,
You forgot to post up what the ET was in the 1/8 mile, can you do that for me so I can see how the car ran ???
Thanks

The reason I say this is that our cars should run xx.xxx in the 1/8 mile
and then you multiply that number times 1.558 and that is what your car should have run in the 1/4 mile.
If you go and look at my new record with CHERRY you can see that I ran a
Best of:
1.956
5.730
8.807 @ 79.427
11.411
13.726 @ 100.338
Take 8.807 and multiply that by 1.558 = 13.726

Hey Chuck, hope you are well ...
The 1/8 mile was 8.516@85.76 ... so using the above formula... 8.516 X 1.558 = 13.267 .. (time slip is 13.176) What's up with that ??
Carlos, it was a beautiful day with a little head wind, but not too bad ... I think the key was cooling the motor way down before that last run ...
The first 3 runs were:
13.44 @ 104.26
13.39 @ 104.78
13.34 @ 105.77
I dialed in at 13.24 figuring MAYBE I'd break into the 20's .. I never expected the 13.17 ... Wish I had a chance at another run.. The track was getting better and I'm DYING for the fluke 12.99 :)

That was a nice run Ken. Glad I had a chance to see it. As for 5.7's going 12.5. Yeah, there out there. Witnessed a few at N.E.D. a few weekends ago. But it takes a few thousand to get there. WTG Ken. 12's are right around the corner.

Hey Guys,
Went up to Lebanon again this past Saturday and ran twice .. It was hot an humid (for us at this time of the year) ... The best I could ring out of her was:
60' --- 1.984
1/8 --- 8.546 @ 85.34
1/4 --- 13.22 @ 106.10
Hopefully we'll get one more chance to head up this Fall ...
Kenny
