Whats your take on Stripes?

I have a Black R/T Charger that I am thinking about putting white or silver Racing stripes. Here is a Idea of what it would like.

personally they are not or me, and I feel they "cheapen" a vehicle... even if I were to get a viper... I would get it without them....

It's not like everybody will do this..I think it looks good, but silver is more in tune with Dodge and the Viper heritage...

If you are going for stripes, how about trying the rear Bumble Bee Stripe? I am not sure how it would look though.

I think the twin stripes from front to back look better on the Magnum, but they don't look bad on the Charger. They do bring a Mustang feeling to the Charger. I like the Hockey stick stripes better on the Charger.

Your stripes are pretty cool Rogelio. I wish they went all the way to the bottom in the front.

It also looks like you've got red R/T logos like the Daytona and a little chin spoiler???

jsa 007, thanks; i didnt take the stripes all the way down because all the fords and chevys has them that way where i live. i do have the R/T off the 68' charger in the grille and have the chinspoiler off the daytona.

I think I said this on a different tread of yours but,
I like it, the only thing I would change is to black out the Chrome grill. Better yet a Daytona grill with the red R/T emblems. They are close to the same color as your stripes.

i just recieved my charger accessories brochure and am waiting to order the other grille. i just hope that blacking out the whole front looks good in person.

I'm thinking ... for my Charger ... the same exact stripe design (with the outer little pin strip and the bottom rails, just like the ones on ebay), but maybe in a silver, and honeycomb blacked out srt-8 grill. no spoiler, stock r&t pack wheels ... hmm

I got some extensive photoshopping to do, I reckon. :D

I just joined, just got my car from the wife. It is my Christmas Present. I am going to do stripes as well. My car is the bright silver so I was going to do Gray like the picture EPOCH posted. I think they look good if they are subtle rather than a drastic contrast. Pictures coming soon. I got the R/T Road and track with all the options.

That's a real photo, right? It looks like a photoshop ... the stripe doesn't seem to follow the curve of the rear of the car.

Anyone else see that or are my eyes just messed up?

Just say "NO" to Stripes :D Unless you are a Zebra. Seriously if you want to go with stripes then go with something a bit smaller or bumblebee stripes. Those stipes are just hideous. But each his own. Some people don't like that huge HEMI emblem on the Daytona Hoods. I actually don't either but the car came with it and I will only take it off when that damn thing gets scratched.
