If you missed it, the background story is here.

Well, I spent about 30 minutes today cleaning it up and here's the results. These are un-retouched except for cropping.

On a side note, I don't know why, but it was difficult taking these pics. The camera was getting all confused and I wound up with a bunch of out of focus and bad exposure results. An example of this is the third pic above. Part of the hood looks dull, but I promis you it is very shiny (as you can see in the 5th pic)

There are several different ones. Best to look at their site: http://www.driwashsolutions.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=21

I've been considering looking into this stuff myself. Thanks for the review!

thanks I just wanted to see what the AIRosol bottles looked like. Its been awhile since I had used it. the bottles look better I need to see if i can find a video clip of it and see if it still can be made to come out in a mist. I will probalay go back to using it. the only thing I did not like about the old bottles was when they got more than 1/2 empty it was more work to keep pumping the bottle when doing larger vehicles. with a refill bottle I can always have a full bottle and be done in a snap. thanks for the link

I answered this in the other thread too. It's not a typical pump. It works like a garden sprayer. You pump it 3 or 4 times and it works just like an aerosol. 3 or 4 pumps will do for one washing. It's very nice.

Well, after reading the other thread and seeing/hearing the results you had, I went and ordered DriWash for my first time last week. Hasn't arrived yet, but I respect your opinion and solely based on that I went ahead and ordered it. If not just for my Charger, for that beast of a black Ford Expedition of my wife's. I'm hoping to be as pleased as you and I'm sure I will be. Thanks for the info, a14umbra.

cool , yup just like remebered. 3 or 4 pumps was what i did to wash my Sentra back in the day, but atleast with the 2 bottles I had after each one got more than 1/2 empty I had to do 3 or 4 pumps just to wash each door and each fender ect by then I was taking as long to dry wash as it did for me to use carnuba wax. and back then Carnuba wax the one that used to come on the brite yellow bottle at wall mart was only 3 50 a bottle. and dri wash was 10 bucks plus I was in school on a budget. so I stopped using dri wash .
well the wall marts where I live no longer sell the Carnuba wax any more since I can get refills i may go back to dri wash and keep the bottle over the 1/2 way mark. thanks for all of the info . this stuff is great when your short on time.

Oh no!!!!!!! Don't let HemiChemi hear that.

I received mine on Thursday, so yesterday I did the roof. It was cloudy and humid. That made it a little harder to work with since the moisture in the air delayed the drying. I finished it in the hot sun today. That was MUCH easier.

I hope you enjoy it. BTW, if you get a nasty bug or bird dropping on your car, wet it with driwash and let it sit for a few seconds. It should come off with moderate elbow grease.

Mine didn't arrive yet. I guess because I forgot to order it.

You'd think maybe someone would got it for me for my birthday. ;-)

I forgot to mention that, while I was cleaning it I discovered a scuff in my side moulding. Sure am glad I never took it off.

Looking at the pricing its more affordable today than back in the early 90's
back then the 8 oz bottle could cost you 20 bucks. sometimes you could get 2 bottles for 20 bucks if there were not too many people around the vender :)

BTW, I don't know if they still make it, but a few years ago I bought some in a true aerosol bottle. It was expensive, but it went on really nice!

cool that would be sweet. but the refill kits will help out nicely and keep cost down for me. I The realy cool thing is it cuts down on what you need to keep in your car wash kit . all you need is 2 terry closth , 1 chamious and a bottle of dry wash and optional tire dressing and sponge.

another thing I used to do to save time and money, I would go through the car wash at the shell gas station after getting gas. back in the 90's if you got gas or got something from the gastation the car wash was only 2 bucks. so I would purchase a debbie snack cake .25 cents and a car wash 2 bucks then finish drying with chamios and shine up with drywash. those were the good ole days lol :)

I recommend this for Central Fl people also. How many people live in Deltona or any other large residential area. How many time have shined up car for Friday night got the wax looking perfect and your just about to go to the drag strip or the night club. you drive 2 blocked only to get soaked by some !@#ss holes sprinkler that is shooting into the street, dang that used to tick me off. I was only 10 minutes from the interstate and you have water spots on your car before you can even get up to 35 mph lol. well with driwash it no problem you stop at the gas station just before you get to the interstate 4 jump out and 3 wipes with a terry cloth and they are gone. :)
