I'll be passing through both Wy and Mt this next week and trying to make some good time, was wondering how thick the locals or hwy patrol are during the day on some of the long lonely stretches of road. I'll be taking I-25 through Wyo and I-94 & I-90 in Mt all the way to Wisdom. I'm driving straight thru from Ok and its about 1600 miles, so making good time is very important!
Thanks!

IMO anybody with the name PastorC should be driving at or below the speed limit at all times or fear the wrath of God http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m129/K-oh/mjahog.gif (http://s103.photobucket.com/albums/m129/K-oh/?action=view¤t=mjahog.gif)http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m129/K-oh/mjahog.gif (http://s103.photobucket.com/albums/m129/K-oh/?action=view¤t=mjahog.gif)http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m129/K-oh/mjahog.gif (http://s103.photobucket.com/albums/m129/K-oh/?action=view¤t=mjahog.gif)http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m129/K-oh/mjahog.gif (http://s103.photobucket.com/albums/m129/K-oh/?action=view¤t=mjahog.gif)http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m129/K-oh/mjahog.gif (http://s103.photobucket.com/albums/m129/K-oh/?action=view¤t=mjahog.gif)http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m129/K-oh/mjahog.gif (http://s103.photobucket.com/albums/m129/K-oh/?action=view¤t=mjahog.gif)http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m129/K-oh/mjahog.gif (http://s103.photobucket.com/albums/m129/K-oh/?action=view¤t=mjahog.gif)http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m129/K-oh/mjahog.gif (http://s103.photobucket.com/albums/m129/K-oh/?action=view¤t=mjahog.gif)http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m129/K-oh/mjahog.gif (http://s103.photobucket.com/albums/m129/K-oh/?action=view¤t=mjahog.gif)http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m129/K-oh/mjahog.gif (http://s103.photobucket.com/albums/m129/K-oh/?action=view¤t=mjahog.gif)http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m129/K-oh/mjahog.gif (http://s103.photobucket.com/albums/m129/K-oh/?action=view¤t=mjahog.gif)

lol ! Love the lighting bolts Charger Chic! But just because Im a man of the cloth doesnt mean that I dont like going real fast or driving hot cars or cycles! Though I do need to slow it down a bit, which over the last several years Ive worked to accomplish that. Paul had his thorn in his side, mine happens to be cars and the speeds we drive them!!! Though I def believe in being safe in traffic, I go a little faster (okay alot) on stretches of hwy that arent busy at that particular time! Please pray for me and my sinful ways!

So sorry! It can be a real drag not to be able to sleep! I had a motorcycle accident in April of 06 and got pretty damaged. I spent many sleepless night, so I understand! I still hurt many nights and it takes me a while to fall alseep as in tonight, though I'm finally tired enough to snooze. So I bid you a good night and have a great weekend!

MT is usually pretty good on the open hwy for 5-10 over. The posted as I remember is 70-75 so you should be able to fly. Back in the day you could drive with a stack of $5s on you dash and if you got pulled over for anything under 10 over it was a $5 on the spot no points or drama. Then the went to "no speed limit" and that I think ended the $5.

thanks for the info HKLEVI! appreciate the words of wisdom, thats basically what I was looking for. My girl likes to cruise at 80mph! plus it gives me an idea on what kind of time I can make.

The posted limit on most Interstates in Montana is 75, so you should have no problem at 80. I regularly lock the cruise at about 80 and usually just get ignored by the Highway Patrol. 85 might be pushing it, and 90 is just asking for a ticket. ;)
