There isn't realy a "good" set-up that you buy and put on. Mopar has a good one, but the sound is a puss. Exhaust Depot's Econo is too d@m loud, so I put resonated tips. Zoomers is not true dual. So my suggestion to you is; go to a muffler shop and have them put on some Flowmasters. They'll come out cheaper and with a better sound; for around $400-450.
Flowmasters Super 44's are nice. The Delta 40 has the best sound I've heard on the 3.5L, but the cabdrone is BIG.
If I was to suggest a cheaper good exhaust, I'd say go with a used R/T exhaust ($100.00 and you'll have the x-pipes), cut out the silencers on the back, and replace the suitcase muffler with either a 2in 2 out Flowmaster, or 2 super 44s.
Now if you want quality stuff (stainless steel), then I'd say just buy an exhaust that is made for the R/T; Zoomers, SLP, borla, etc... Will cost you a penny!!
The R/T and the 3.5L share the same pipe diameter; 2.25".'
Just be aware that you'll need a heat shield under the driver side fuel tank, if you're adding dual mufflers.
We have a thread right in this section of the forum with V6 sound clips:

It all depends on what you want. I have the Mopar Borla exhaust and I like it. It's not loud at all though and the price has gone up alot since I bought mine. I think there are better deals out there for sure. Juvezak has the Exhaust Depot one and it sounds really good. It is loud. As others have said, take a look around. There are alot of good opinions on the different setups.

Zoomers is not true dual.
why is the Dual Zoomers with an x-pipe not considered a true dual?????
I got the set-up and I'm more than happy about it.

Last time I've checked, the Zoomers for the 3.5 was a 1in 2out muffler/glasspack. Unless there is another one I don't know.

V6 has two "long headers" going down in to the x-pipe and two out to the end

I can't see the picture you posted, but when i checked, a while back, they had a "Y" pipe from the 2 cats to the muffler. Maybe I'm thinking another exhaust type... I can't recall...

I believe the "X" or "y" pipes are in front of the cat.
so if you have an Y-pipe you have an single exhaust (two in/one out)
and if you have an X-pipe you have an dual exhaust(two in/two out)
I got told back then, that with the x-pipe I have a true dual exhaust

Yeah, the X pipes are true duals, but the picture I saw was a "Y" pipe. I guess they're offering the X pipes now? I though that was for the 5.7L?

There is a link
http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/shopdisplayproducts.asp?SID=4Dodge&zone=American&id=447&cat=Charger
If you go proformance peddlers (www.proformancepeddlers.com) website and give them a call and mention that you saw them on the charger forum they will give you an even better discount.
Hope that this helps.

I have the Exhaust Depot "econo" setup. When I first fired them up my 9 year old son was holding his ears and yelling "That is soooo Awesome"

When he says Y pipe, he is referring to a muffler that takes one pipe in and puts two out, like the blastin bobs set up, in other words, flip the Y like you said around, lol.
