I don't know much about cars, so i need a little help! I have a charger SXT and i want to put dual exhaust on it. What's the best i can possibly get for it? Meaning - Most HP, Most lasting, Best sound. I've heard mopar is pretty good, or even magnaflow? But i need some real professional help! Also, How much HP would the "best" exhasut system for a charger SXT pull out??? Also, i'm thinking of getting the SRT8 hood for my SXT, is it worth it if you dont have a V8? Im new to this, but i'm still a charger brotha! help me out people!

Thanks, Meesh

the exhausts are a big topic here but heres a run down:

Zoomers - favorate but most expensive
Mopar - hey its got a big blue M on it
Borla -
Magnaflow - the duals aren't out yet but due soon
Custom - make your own configuration

HP is speculative but you can plan on 5 - 15 horses

Personally, if money isnt an issue go with the Zoomers. There are other threads that discuss the 3 different types of exhausts available to the V6 owners.

As for the hood... put your money into other mods th
at will give you a definate performance result... CAI, Jet Level 2 mod

or if your looking to mod the appearance... new wheels, spoiler, grill work

Bigmeesh,
I have done quite a few mods so far and I think doing the exhaust, jet chip ( stage 2) and the CAI are the way to go for your first 3 mods. I did the mopar exhaust and I am very happy with it. The sound is perfect for me because I'm on the cell alot for business.

I want to warn you it's hard to stop once you start doing things though.

When I picked up my "MOPAR" exhaust, I found out that it was made by BORLA... both of the tips have "BORLA" stamped on the top.

Any chance of getting a soundclip out of you?

wow, I have the same car and color without the mods (love it to death) ! I am saving my pennies for the dual catback. Did you notice any preformance gains when you added yours ?
