Also from Louisiana, recent addition to Lafayette here. I've only seen two other Chargers in Lafayette, and I don't think they're on this forum. If I can catch that Daytona that's been running around here I'll recruit him.

i had surgery (late sept) on my lower back...blew out a disc during patrol....combo of ied and bad driving (more on the bad driving side)...i was a squad leader in back of bradley getting thrown around. i kept going on patrols (about 3 weeks) until i lost feeling in my right leg from sciatic nerve being pinched badly. so i was sent to medevaced to germany and then back to ft. polk.....it took from june to late sept for them to get me to surgery....feel a lot better but my career is more than likely ending. i will never be able to carry anything heavy and they didn't repair the other 4 discs that are messed up.....doctor said i will need surgery again down the road as i get older so i will have back problems the rest of my life......

the worst part of all of this to me - i have put on some serious weight b/c i can't run (just got to the point of walking 2.5 miles without pain) and i was taking so many prescribed steriods - the weight was jumping on me.

i am about to go into the community based program for about 5 months and then the doctor decides my fate with the military.....i was told i would be a P2 for sure but more than likely a P3 (which is military medical boot)

Sorry to hear all that man. I had a few close calls over there myself, but nothing real serious. I hope everything works out for you. If you're ever going to be in the Lafayette area let me know.

will do...same goes for you...i will trapped at the lake charles armory for the next 6 months.....i have tons of mods on the charger! same color as yours silversteel - so far borla 125s, dynatech headers, mopar cai, jet chip stg2, tint, daytona grill, r/t emblem, charger emblem, blue calipers with dodge decals, eibach drop (which is about to be replaced with stock springs...car is too low after i put on headers - worried about destroying my headers by hitting something), custom engine cover and a plethora of little things......loving the charger!!!!!!

We need to organize something for LA charger owners, maybe it should be in Alexandria since that is in the middle of the state, equal driving distance for all........wait I hate Alexandria, I 'll leave it up to Godaddy or someone else to organize.
