The next SRT Q&A Chat Session will be held right here @ Chargerforums.com on Wednesday, July 18th from 6pm to 8pm ET / 3pm - 5pm PT
By request of the SRT Engineering Team, this will be another special "brainstorming" session, this time for your thoughts on next generation LX SRT8 vehicles.

We would like to invite all 300C, Charger, and Magnum SRT8 owners to participate in the same sort of next generation discussion we had on the CherokeeSRT8 forum in April. We will be joined on our end by the Voice of the Customer Team working on the successor vehicles to today's cars and they are very interested in hearing the same sort of ideas we generated for the Grand Cherokee SRT8 - opinions, likes, dislikes, etc for the next generation SRT8's (300C, Charger). As before, this session will primarily focus on discussion about future LX SRT8 vehicles.
Questions regarding other vehicles will be answered, but with a lower priority.

This is your chance again - Please take this opportunity to provide your input for the future direction of the LX SRT8!

- See you July 18th -
.

You mean LY or LC platform? :nervous s

Twin-Turbo Variable Vain Turbo - twin Intercooler 6.4ltr electronic lockup rear gearing, add a dual double pedal less clutch system with oversize 6-piston caliber brakes. Lower the body with adjustable camber coil suspension. Perhaps a electronic suspension...cold air intake with dual throttle bodies....then a racing radiator to keep it cool.

Ensure that it comes with a 525-HP / 525lbs of TQ

I will not be able to participate in the chat. But if someone else wants to pass on my idea that would be great!

I think that the EVIC should display what gear the trans is in, even when in auto mode. This would be simple to do. Just have the ring around the "D" stay illuminiated but also show the number for the gear that the trans is currently in. When you switched to manual mode the ring could just go out.

This would be helpful when you want to downshift quickly for passing or cornering. When in auto you have no way of telling if you need to whack the lever once or twice to get to the desired gear as you don't know which one it is in.

If you are paying close attention you can tell but I have the attention span of a six year old.

What are the new displacements and what are the new components that make up the future SRT Engines?

Tata, DCXRJ, your forgetting the Prime Directive:)

We shall not ask questions about future products. To answer would make them violate thier PD, "We shall not answer questions about future products."

I also will not be able to participate as it is right during the end of my work day... however I have some ideas that I would like to see passed along:

1. Greater differential between SRT models, example: make the 300 more of a Big Ticket threat kicking euro butt... make the Charger and Challenger more muscle car...to take on ford and GM products already on the way

2. offer a manual trans option on the dodge products, but put the 7-speed auto in the 300

3. bump power to 500+ h.p. w/ mds to keep fuel economy in line( somewhat)

4. offer a "Road Runner" type of package( or Club Sport) where you can get the SRT drivtrain in a plain jane wrapper w/ cloth seats reg. a/c etc... kind of merge an SRT-8 w/ an SE...Priced right, this could really take off...Mitsu has done this to some success with the EVO RS...

5. Offer all of the retro colors as an option on any SRT product...

thanks for your attention
