Folks, first off as with any post, I want to thank you all for you business, trust and support.

I always feel it is important to post the good and bad. Today we dropped the ball a bit, and in fact dropped the ball over the past couple of days.

Several folks have ordered a pistol girp shifter in the "brushed" look with clear anodize. Some of those orders are going back to the 20th of June.

Today a customer called, fairly irriate, and rightfully so wanting to know where his grip was. In all honesty, I thought we had shipped all the grips, but after checking, I saw that his order was still open, and it was not an order that required special engraving on it. I also saw where we had checked in the clear bright dip anodize for the grips on the 22nd of June.

I knew of one of the grips that came out not as it should (see the picture), but was not aware that they all came back this way. I know it doesn't help much when you are pissed waiting for something, but we have not charged any credit cards for those who have been waiting. :(

Anyone reading who has ordered a brushed grip with clear, please accept our apology for the delay. We are expediting from clear anodize on these right now, and will be shipping before the end of the week.

Yea, we don't know why they came out this why. Our anodizer is/was as confused as us, as he did clear them. Its as if the grit from the sandblast process intereacted with the clear anodize and turned it a grayish black.

I wish your website had pictures that showed the difference between the black chrome and the black pearl powder coat. This makes me question all of it, since I haven't heard anything about a matching Mango. So, if you could provide better pics, that'd be great. And I wouldn't mind knowing how many of these mistakes you have and how much you'd let us take them off your hands for, if you're selling them.

Personally, when it comes to products for my vehicle, I would rather wait than get something that isn't right. Whenever so-and-so get their goodies, I know they'll be happy as I am with mine. In the end, it'll all work out.

All powder coating has been removed as an option from our site due to problems we are having with our outside vendor. We have posted on this in another thread the problem we have been having with powder.

I'll check for you shortly. Emblems for the chargers have started shipping again. We can not keep them in stock and we try to post on this in the emblem thread on a regular basis when we expect delays and when we expect to begin shipping again.

The cool thing that happened at our M&G this weekend is that members actually got to help design their own one offs and watch them get cut.

Anyone with an emblem that was ordered as a standard within the last week it has either shipped or will be shipping within the next few days.

To come back and answer everyone on this stick. I'm currently getting ready to leave my house to go to anodize to drop stuff off and pick stuff up. I'm going to ask if this is possible to get a replication or as close to a replication as possible. This was a situation where we believe the grit that was used in the sandblast to get the old school look interacted with the clear anodize and turned it this very dark gray/black color.

The stick on the right in this picture link is what the brushed clear anodized stick should look like. The one of the left is the bright silver powder coat that we are not offering right now. So you can see why we could not send these stick out. We kept 2 back and blasted the other ones again to be redone in clear. For those asking if we have them left. We sold one last night to a member over on lxforums, and the other one we are keeping and dropping off at anodize this morning as the sample to see if it can be replicated or close just by taking a brushed grip and perhaps putting it in with a black anodize process. I'll keep everyone posted.

Yes, we have two additional sources for powder coating that we have sent scrap metal to. Looking to have the samples back at some point next week.

I have good news! After getting to my vacation destination today (after getting stuck in Dallas for 1.5 days due to American Airlines mess up's). I received word on my voice mail that we will be able to get that flat brushed blasted black look very close to the boo boo stick. When I return to the office next Tuesday I'll get pictures up and then we can put this for sale. Neal (our awesome QC & Design Engineer) has sent a couple more sticks to anoidze to see how they come out also.
