I just got back from the track. My best run was 13.7 @ 102 MPH. I was mostly running 13.8s and 13.9s. I thought I did pretty good for being the first time at the track. I have a pic of my time slip below from my best run. I was up against a 5.0 mustang. I was 3-3 on the night. I got killed by some old drag car, I think it was a old buick and he ran a 11.5. Then I lost to a 5.0 stang that ran 12s, and I lost to a camaro that ran 12s. I won against a 5.0, a v6 firebird and a 1997 mustang cobra.
I took a few videos too, I'll post them later.

I have an R/T. I thought they were some good runs with my mods, and considering I weigh 280 lbs. and it was my first time at the track. I was really happy with my times. I was just hopping to break 14.

yes they are good runs congrats!!
Great times - especially with a 2.1 60'! Get that down to a 2.0 flat, which should be very possible, and you'll be in the 13.5 range.....

Hey Metgo,
Way to go, hit me up with a pm if you are going to go again. I jave been trying to meet some St Louis area chargers. I am curious about my times also, before I start doing any performance mods.

Wow, and those are some relatively cheap mods. What was the outside air temp and your elevation?
You ever had your car dyno'd?

Nice runs, good ETs. Did you play with tire pressure and launch rpm to try to improve your 60ft? Ice your intake, keep your hood up to cool down the motor, turn on the heater to get hot air out of motor, etc?

The outside temp was around 70. The elevation I think was around 600 feet. I have had my car dynoed, and I got 315 hp and 352 tq. But when I got that dyno done, it was really hot outside, and my engine was really hot.
At the track, I lowered my tire pressure to 25 psi and used my fan mod with the hood open, and engine temp was great. When I was waiting in line, and coming back after a run, I ran the heater.
As far as launching, I turned off traction control, put the car in auto stick, reved to about 1500 rpm then when I saw yellow, I let off the break, and eased into the throttle and floored it and let the car do the rest.

Your running about the same as me! I have a few less mods, and crappy air here in AZ! My PB of 13.82 at 102.25 was at a D.A. of 1,300 ft above sea level!
GOOD JOB! :)
