Don't know if it's normal - mine reads a hair under 50% when fully warmed up.

I have the standard gauges too. Mine always reads just left of the center mark when fully warmed up.....

My SXT also reads just left of center mark when fully warmed. It would appear from the above post's that this would be normal.

Just under 1/2. Doing the EVIC diag mode, temp hangs around 220 degrees F or so, if I remember right.

Needle stays at just a hair under half while the EVIC reads anywhere from 201F-222F (watched it today on my way home from work in stop-and-go traffic).
I would have thought a 20 degree change would move the needle but if it did it was barely noticeable.

I did the same thing today on my way home!
The needle gauge rises fairly quickly to just under 1/2 and stops. I looked at the readout, and was at 180. All the way up to 220, the needle gauge didn't change anymore. So, don't trust that needle guage for accuracy for sure. I'm sure the digital readout is much more accurate (and does fairly steadily rise to 220 or so).
