Arizona Auto Show

Did anyone here go this year? I use to go all the time but it seems like now, more than ever they save anything new for the Detroit show.

I went this year,

Like the last 4 year I have gone to the show it is a dissapoinment... they bring cars only from dealer lots and thats about it... barely any concepts to speak off.. and even production cars they did not have everything there....

I have not been to a good auto show since I lived in the Seattle area... but that could have changed now days as well.. the Vancouver, B.C. show used to be a great show as well... you could spend all day there and not see everything there was to see... but the Phoenix one... after about 2 hours, you have looked at everything, sat in everything and ready to go home...

I am wondering if Motor Trend is to blame for the tacky auto shows, or if it is the local dealer association that putz them on in conjuction with motor trend.

Cali also has a very nice auto show every year. I too was dissapointed. It was basicly like going to the Tempe auto plex, but paying money.
