I recently purchased a set of Theft Deterrent Logo Air Valve Caps made by TVG. I thought they look great and added that extra finishing touch to several of my vehicles, especially the Python SRT8 Charger.
I came out of work on Friday and noticed smudges in the brake dust on the wheel by the valve stem (brake dust issue is another story). I quickly realized that both drivers side Caps were gone. I couldn't figure how they got them off as you need a key.
I head back to my office and straight to a computer and ordered another set off eBay. Later when I returned home I located the package and there was a web address www.thevintagegroup.com. I figure I would shoot the off an e-mail as to let them know what went down. If nothing else it would make me feel better, I figured that would be the end of it. I was dead wrong, within less than an hour I recieved a response from the CEO of the company expressing genuine concern.
I still have not recieved the new set I purchased from e-bay, but first thing this morning DHL was at my door with a package from TVG. A brand new set of viper head logo caps and a couple of other goodies too.
I wanted to share this story with you all, so you too can know that quality customer service is not dead! These folks really stand behind their products in a way that left me blown away.
