sound bites - recommendation

these muffler sound bites are great but it seems that everyone takes the recording from a different location. wht results are sound bites that are hard to compare. I know this sounds picky, but when people are trying to evaluate spending $$$.. IT MATTERS!!!

SUggestions:

1. record from a point 3 feet behind the center rear of the car.

2. record a startup, 5 - 10 second idle, and a rapid acceleration

Yep!!!!!

That's exactly how I did mine! I recorded mine with my laptop 3' behind the car centered. It helps to have a start-up, idle, and take-off clips!

I still need to do a new set of clips since I installed the Jet chip and CAI. I also want to do an interior cabin clip.

I guess I have four free days to get that done!! :happy:
