The cup holders are there - but they are just open. I like that lid over them like the SXTs big brother has. Makes it look a lot cleaner.

it is a nice clean look when closed, but it looks to me like it wouldn't be a cheap thing to change

That's why I'm hoping that someone that had that type of console may have upgraded to something else so I can buy the old one. I agree - it won't be cheap or easy though.

Would it be possible to just order the parts for the door, or is that part of the console different?

put a picture up....i didn't realize this difference at all. wondering if you have the points like liquify is asking, that way you can just add the door.

I've seen it. You can't just add a door, but I would guess that the cupholder 'module' is swappable.

Sounds like a question for you local parts dept.

If it is not a module watch ebay..a lot of guys are upgrading the the rear DVD system. OR you could upgrade to the DVD system, I am sure that console has the cup holder door. Yeah that would be the way to go.. :whistle:

You know, that brings up something that's been bothering me for a while. With people swapping out their chrome grill for a black or bodycolor one, why aren't there chrome ones on Ebay? I'd like to get one to try painting, like nCharge did.

not sure this one would work....he is looking for that little door for the cup holders? if you change out to the dvd system the only thing that changes out is the actually center console lid...it is a straight swap - i read the instructions b/c i was looking into doing this....so you don't actually change the cup holder part out.......

That may be. The pictures I have seen in the accessory books show the entire console, so I thought the whole back half of the console was the package.

Not sure if this will work or not.

The R/T has the center console with the flip down lid over the cup holders right?
My SXT does not.

Has anyone replaced their center console and looking to get rid of the old one?
