Deem, did you get it ?!?!?!

Steve, went to HICN after the fight, nobody was there...parked next to a Silver SRT8, Navy guy's wifes car...he drove a Z06 with twin turbo...800hp at the wheel...that's just insane. Anyway, nobody else showed...I was all by myself, listening to the group of Mustang and GTO guys mock the Bee. I needed some serious backup.

If you not doing anything tomorrow check out the Memorial day thread on DTW, it will be an early one. My sons b-day on May 26, which I received scoldings for not remembering. No sweat the small guys GTO and stangs are just jealous.

deem,
Awesome and welcome to the SuperBee club. I can quarantee your enjoyment with your new ride. I still get chicken skin when I get in, turn the key and hear that rumble

When the ferry opens when need to get everyone together for a photo.

They already had my bracket on...which is enough to make a grown man cry. I have seen ppl get away with having it on the passenger side dash. If you can get away with not ruining the lines on the front of the car...don't.

im gonna try get hubby to fabricate a bracket that will hold plate from under for when i needa get safety check...

another bee question- polish/sealant/other...what did you do as far as detailing of the car...how do i deal with the flat black part? in the past for my other autos I have used nxt maguires line...I dont like paying someone else to do it (i got trust issues on top of imma titewad)...i dont see myself doing that klasse thing but I dont know...is there something to definitely stay away from in regards to the flat black decals...

I did the full sealant and wax and polish within a couple of weeks. Get some good quality polish for the decals. I used some cheaper stuff and ended up with wax residue. I used the ICE liquid wax to cleam them up.

Now I just detail clean through out the week then wash and wax on heavy build up (rainy week). Watch the corners where the trunk and bumber meet noticed water spot build up there. I had a full in and out detail done for the NEX show but think I could have done just good of a job and save the money.

So you still happy about your upgrade. I get all giddy every morning when I walk out and see the Bee in the garage makes for a great way to wake up.

Yep the whole family will be there. MegaCab and SuperBee. The bracket idea is you best way. I wish I didn't have 4 big holes in my front bumber.
