View Full Version : My first transaction with billet tech

Well lets see I ordered a candy red powder coated shifter, I called in the order and from the order time to my door was 3 weeks. Didn't know it would take that long, after the first week they said sorry they were busy and that the shifters would take another week and it would ship last friday. On friday and called and got good customer service, so good they said that since the delay they said now it won't ship till monday and that they would overnight it free of charge and i won't pay any shipping!!! But too good to be true, it shipped on tuesday, got regular shipping, and was still charged the extra 10 bucks for shipping. I don't mind the delay of a custom product, but I mind the lies and getting my hopes up like that. But it finally arrived today and added a nice touch to my interior.

Problem Resolved. Heidi was out the office, I reached another guy who called Heidi and left the message personally, and she quickly called me within the next minute, and they will credit me the 20 dollars back, Now this went from a bad (due to misunderstandings) to Excellent (due to the best customer service ever), so now everything should be taken care of, the product looks great! and I will try to post a pic of the shifter soon. Thanks Billet Tech!

From what I've seen and heard about them they're a good company and much liked here. It probably was just a miscommunication between the customer service and shipping department. Glad though that you've already got in on there and it looks good. Enjoy!

Actually I just noticed my recipt and now found they even added an extra 10 dollars to the original price!!! now thats $20 dollars overcharged!!! i will definitely have to call them now and would have to change my review from mutual to BAD!

funny because on the bottom of the products they quote......

Shipping done via UPS. You only pay what we pay to ship it to you. No hidden handling charges ever!

Oh and it was shipped fedex.

everyone will make a mistake every now and again, i have an order now and is delayed a little, the anticipation of seeing the pistol grip shifter is killing me. From what i read they are a great company, hopefully they will resolve your issue quickly.

If i would have known they were gonna charge me the cost of one i would have ordered the pistol grip too!

They were driving to the E-Town event (long drive) so they may not have picked up your message yet.

They're good people, so I'd suggest it was simply an oversight on their part - call them up, talk to Heidi, or PM her, and she'll take care of you.

You might need to wait until next week, though, because of E-town...

Sorry you had hassles, but they're not out to fool you or take advantage of anyone...

yeah i ordered my pistol grip shifter 2 weeks ago. i was told i would receive it by this week. I just called over there and now its by mid next week. I guess they are having problems with the standards from people who they send them off too to get polished. Im in not in a hurry to get it, just inpatient.
