Can I use a clay bar to clean my car without the need of polishing and waxing after finishing?

Sure, but if you're going to go through all that trouble to remove contaminants why not protect the finish with some wax when you're done?

I was watching a video on how to use a clay bar, its very easy and simple... but waxing seems to be a bit harder and I dont want to take the risk

Then PAY someone to wax it for you. You need something on the paint to protect it from the elements.

You can Google, or visit your local library, or book store for a host of info on detailing from the experts. If you use a buffer, make sure that it's Orbital; no damage from incorrect pressure. Get an Absorber to help prevent water spots. Most products will give you instructions on-line.

Just get the turtle wax Ice kit. Kit comes with applicator and polish removal cloth and liquid wax for $16 can't screw it up.

Wax on wax off my friend. Just like Mr. Myagi said.
Just make sure you use 100% cotton (or a good quality synthetic) cloths and your car surface is as clean as possible before you start applying any wax. Using the clay bar and washing the car again afterwards should take care of that.
Then go spend some quality time with your car!

Juv, I look at it really simply. I will never wax or polish without claying. If you do, the small particles that the carwash leaves behind will act like sandpaper as you wax.
I also never clay without waxing, since the clay removes some of the protection from the previous wax.
Good luck.

waxing is just as easy as claying. if you can read a bottle you know how to wax... it does, however, take some time to get it show car worthy :)

NXT is a fine starter wax. It will hide some minor swirls and give protection. The biggest knock is durability as it lasts about a month or so. You should be fine and good luck!
