I'm 34, newly married, white colar, no kids (yet) good income, Gen X. Call me selfish but I want my cake and to eat it to. I want performance, yet practicality. I want room, yet style. I want power, yet reasonable gas mileage. Lastly I want all of this at a value based price, which to me right now is right around $30K.

As things are shaping up, the 2005 Dodge Charger will bring this all to the table.

6.1L Hemi - Power/Performance
Cylinder De-activation - Reasonable gas Mileage
4 Doors Sedan - Practicalilty and room
Attractive styling - Style
Est $30K price - Affordability

In summary, based on some assumptions, the 2005 Dodge Charger with a Hemi will be the perfect car for me, and in my opinion many people of my generation (Age 30 - 45)

Can't hardly wait!

Just a hunch, but I don't think you'll see any Charger with the 6.1 going for $30k.

I'd guess either the 5.7L or 6.1L will be around 30K. The 6.1 will be more expensive, but I'd be surprised if it was over $35K.

You mean mid 30ish with the 6.1? If so, looks like they're continuing the great pricing on the LXs.

I guess it's not that surprising that the Chrysler 300 SRT version would be more than the Dodge - just like the top of the line 300C is more than the top of the line Magnum RT
