The hood and trunk can be purchased in fiberglass if your interested in it only from a weight savings point of view. This will reduce the price, please give me a call if you decide it's time to put the charger on a diet!

The race hood is carbon fiber inner and carbon fiber outer on the hood, it is significantly lighter, but it does cost extra. The hood is also for off road use only with a roll cage installed, there are safety issues involved in a front end collision with a hood that does not crush installed and no roll cage. If you are interested in a race version please give me a call and we can discuss the details.
