I just found the TOP SPEED Indicator in the EVIC. Some may have known it was there, for those who haven't tried it, hold down your two inner lower buttons on your steering wheel controls for about 10 sec, bring up the Electronic Dash, scroll with the up/down arrow on the wheel, until you get to the Electronic Speedometer and hold the trip resent button in the dash.
Above is what you get.

Same here I use the Digital Dash on the Toll Road to set the cruise. I hit the trip reset button to change to trip A and It popped up to my surprise. Pretty cool though.

Please tell me it's only the top speed for THAT day. Meaning does that counter restart when you turn the car off, then back on?
If not ... wow a maximum of 92.8MPH with 3763.4 miles on the car... you really need to open her up some...

its not just for that day...it is stored by the computer
but you can clear it, and if youre really paranoid about it just disconnect your battery and it will be gone as well
agreed! 92.8 isnt much in this game

EhHem....Of course I've gone faster and of course it was reset and that 92.8 was on a closed course track. It's an SRT8 for crying out loud. I would never go over the speed limit. But combined with 0-60 you can reset both and compare both stats on the track with your buds.

I would never go over the speed limit.
It's funny how many times I hear this. Myself, living in Southern California, the speed limit is 65mph in most areas. You'll get run over if you do 65 in the slow lane! I usually do 80ish like everyone else...

Didn't know that after 16 months. Thanks DCX. Anybody got any more little tidbits on the EVIC? :geek:

Pressing the right arrow button on the left side of the steering wheel will reset it to zero. I think hitting reset all will zero it out as well.

I'm inclined to agree with you. While people have photo's of their EVIC there is no evidence to suggest they "actually" were going that fast on a track or street.

Did you go to the electronic speed, and then push your trip computer button to trip B

I think it took about a minute and a half or so. Flat highway, interstate 44 between Medicine Park (exit 46) and Key Gate (exit 41) in Oklahoma.

Sorry, guys, it was legit highway, about 3:30 am. There's hardly any cars on it at that time. I was going to take a video, but I figured at those speeds it was a better idea to keep both hands on the wheel. I'm not one of those types to make up stuff. That and I have no idea where the nearest dyno is to Lawton, OK.

This must be just a SRT8 thing. :( Just went to the garage and tried it with my R/T and no max speed. All I got was, when in the electronic speedo with both trip A or B showing, nothing after holding the reset for 25 seconds. When the regular odometer showing I got "hrs 415" displayed where the odometer was after holding the reset in for about 10 seconds.

I get all that plus with the Dashhawk. Down load to the computer and make crazy graphs. Can EVIC do CAT TEMPS? Dashhawk is the best.

Pretty sure this and the 0-60 clock is a 2007 thing for R/T's and SRT's.
Since I have an 06, just SOL.. wish there was an EVIC flash that updated it!

No. I have a 2006 and a 2007 SRT8, it's not on the 2006. The electronic Speedometer and tach are though.
