CBD Hood/Fuse box/Radiator cover came in

today the Carbon Fiber hood, b-pillar, fuse box cover and radiator cover came in...give me a minute to download the pics...i didn't put the engine pcs yet, because i'm going to wait and clean it 1st...no time yet...plus the Carbon Fiber decklid and valve covers should be coming by fri or early next week...the picture dosn't do it justice...i put the hood on and it needed a little bit of tweaking, but wasn't difficult at all....jimmy

the biggest pain in the @ss was removing the metal mesh in the vent...if anyone orders a hood, make sure not to have them put it in...you can buy and use the factory parts thats on the stock hood...the vent cover had to be modified to fit and i had to use dble stick tape, but i think it still looks awesome...

Make sure you match the radiator cover up to the hood adjuster holes before you remove the adhesive. The holes on mine were off which I found out after sticking it down.

absolutely perfect... I think some silver lettering with a red outline may set it off... but even with nothing else it looks great! Your car and my car look very similar... and you definitely just convinced me on the projectors by the way...

the roof lip and trunk spoiler are from ABGMotoring...you can buy there products from wingswest.com or look them up, ABGMotoring.com for contact info...if you have no luck then let me know...i can try and alert them and find out about price...i got this over 1yr ago...unfortunately i have to trash the trunk spoiler, because the body shop ruined it...it can not be salvaged and it's a shame...

Dana - i was or might...still waiting on word from Tommyz, a vendor on the other forums...he makes a sick @ss all aluminum body kit and roof cover for the 300's....last he was checking to see who was interested in a carbon fiber version and he's going to do carbon fiber cover's for his wheels...i can't wait...if that dosn't pan out, i'm still researching for another co....so i might do a flatt black decal on the roof for now, untill the carbon fiber version becomes available, as well as the wheels....later - jimmy

no, the ABG products do not come painted, but they can paint it for you for an additional cost....i would recommend having them paint it....all there products are well made of polyeurothan....i see if i can get a hold of them this week and get back to you....wingswest is the only co. selling ABG products...later - jimmy

sitting in my garage and going to powder coat this week....only parts i'm waiting on now and they should be here by mid this week, are CBD decklid and valve cover's (need to order strut covers now), Billet Tech skull and cross bones hood emblem and i valve cover (b/o), tps for 22's and srt center caps and a few new stuff in the works....i'm getting the 22's, exhuast tips and GSM cai powder coated this week....issue w/ the GSM cai, gave me a reject part, so it won't work...i have to call them tom or i may just have my welder fix the problem....i'll take pics mid week when parts come in...later - jimmy
still working on carbon fiber roof, but dosn't look promising, so this week i'm going to try and install a matte black decal over the roof (1pc) and some custom emblem decals should be ready this week...this has been somewhat a pain, because everything is coming seperate and some parts didn't fit properly...

Yup Jimmy......just unscrew those, unplug the wires, and gently yet firmly press on the brake light to break the rubber seal behind! Should pop right out, I just sent mine to 402 for tint!

Your car is frickin' sweet. One small detail that helps is to take some Mothers aluminum & mag polish to the AC lines. They shine like the fuel rails when polished. It only takes a second and adds a great detail.

Don't paint that hood. It is great as is.

i got some pics w/ the decklid on and i've got to say if you've never installed one, don't try it on your own...i was successfull after a long process and ended up nicking the corner...i fixed it w/ epoxy...it wasn't easy and Rob from CBD pointed me in the right direction, but i would still do it again...later - jimmy

That trunk is incredible. It fits better than the test trunk we had. Those gaps are damn close, and it looks like the work you put in paid off for fitment.

it wasn't to bad, the only hard part is getting the filter in, thru the wheel well...plus there's a mounting connection that has the hose hook up, that was placed incorrectly...it was placed on the mounting plate, instead of the funnel, so i had to cut it off, drill a hole in the proper location, then weld it on...later - jimmy

Thanks for the info. I've been thinking about getting a GSM CAI mainly for looks. Hopefully GSM has straighted out there problems.

On your hood, what did you do about the windshield wiper spray jets?

cut the original line and added some adapters to extend it to the wiper blades...i got small nozzle sprays for the wiper blades and tie wrapped all the lines...later - jimmy
