Ok - I went onto Zoomers website and listened to the V6 exhaust on the Magnum. I think it sounds pretty good.
How does this compare to the Mopar exhaust?
Anyone have a sound clip of Mopar duals on a 3.5?
I would like to hear before I commit to buying.
Thanks.

If you go with Zoomers you will be very happy
I am a proud owner of the Zoomers Cat Back system and I recommend them to everyone.

Are you sure it is "Drone". I find that at low RPM's you can hear when the MDS kicks in and out. This sound I would not call "Drone". When you do have cabin drone you will know it. It will rattle and vibrate your cabin area and you would not be able to hear yourself talk or hear the radio. If this is what you hear than I would check out your install and make sure you do not have any leaks.

Maybe I'm wrong...it's hard noise to explain.....it sounds like the cabin has depressurized and it's humming inside the cabin like the tips are inside the cabin and not outside. It could be a leak....but I'm not sure...cause it only does it through second gear.....and it sounds cool actually. Now, to be fair....it's much more noticable when the engine is cold....when it's warmed up...I don't notice it as much...or maybe I'm just use to it....but it seems to be nearly abscent when warmed up. Could just be a cold engine thing....

CMON Mopar Exhaust Owners!!!!!!!!!!!
We need someone to post a sound clip. The only V6 sound clip I know of on a forum member's Charger is tagged on my signature!
EVERYONE WANTS TO COMPARE!!

What I really think we need is ANOTHER thread to talk about exhausts....C'mon guys! Let's go for 7!!!!! My MOPAR exhaust will hopefully be installed next weekend. As I am technologicaly challenged, I will do my best to capture sound bite and make them abvailable provided I do not hurt myself or my computer in the process.... :geek:
Hey Spoonerock! Can we get a separate forum for V6 Exhaust mods?

Hey spoon - Never noticed that in your Sig line before. Good sound clip. That sounds pretty good.
You have a single pipe in the back? My computer here at work isn't the best for viewing pictures.

Hey Guys,
I wish I could make a sound clip for you all on the Mopar 3.5 dual exhaust but I have a hard enough time just getting photo's from my camera to my computer, yet trying to get sound too.
I have been on Zoomer's web-site and heard their dual exhaust for the 3.5, I think that they have a great sound going. Just loud enough and not harsh at all for a V-6.
However, the Mopar duals sound is very nice, I hope it will be a little louder as time goes on as the Tech at my dealership said it would. Just a tad on the light side for me.
But when you factor in the cost of the Zoomer's vs the Mopar's you almost have to give it to Mopar. With the saveings on the Mopar exhaust you have money left over for other things for your Charger. That's what my thoughts were when going with Mopar exhaust.
