Drastic title I know but....
As some of you might know I got an overhead console off of ebay that has homelink.... I know for a fact that you just need to add power to the thing and some people have told me that I should connect the wires from the homelink module to the A pillar post located on the pass side.... I did that and had no luck!
Could someone that has homelink please tell me which wires run the power to the thing? I promise that I will post pictures and let everyone know how to do this mod! This mod is something really really cheap and you can find those consoles @ ebay really cheap... remember you can get any console from a magnum, 300, jeep or anyother car that has the same console!
anyways hope that someone could help me here!
thanks!

bump bump.... come on... it is not that hard to check on your cars people! here's a new offer: Will pay 10 bucks for the guy who gives the solution.... You just got to take the homelink console out and check which wires run the power..... a voltmeter should do the trick!!!!
10 buckarooossss are waiting for you!

I dont think the A post pass side electrical will help, possibly the driver side has a always hot line. I will see if I can remove the Homelink unit, will get back to you...
More than likely its the power for the two lights in that overhead unit that powers the homelink.
Isnt there a shop manual, electrical schematics etc... available for the Charger?

It looked to me from the service manual that the homelink console itself (overhead buttons) uses the CAN BUS but I didn't see the actual homelink transmitter (must be one somewhere). The diagram showed only 2 wires going to the button assembly.

Might need to take another look.

First, do you have the EVIC option. If no, it won't work. EVIC is used to monitor Homelink operations.
If yes, do you know how to train/program it?

Yeah, I'm not sure it's going to work for you..

I think the homelink comes with the EVIC in the electronic convenience group.

If you want to sell it, I could use an extra. Let me know.
