I was thinking maybe the 10th or 11th of Dec...let the holidays get past first.

I guess you can never find a location that's okay for everyone, for example nCharge is in Bucks County, so Cecil County is a bit far for him (if he's interested). I'm okay with Lancaster, Morganton, Pottstown ;), King of Prussia, Reading. MD may be a bit too far for me. I'm not as mobile as I'd like to be (job and volunteer work commitments).

We could do the exton square mall too, but may be too far from Gettysburg, like I said, I'm open...and I'll drive to just about anywhere...should be fun.

I haven't been to the Cecil County strip in years - I used to go all the time when I lived closer to it. I'm down in Odessa DE - Not sure who is familiar with Delaware. I'm about 1.5 hours from King of Prussia, maybe about the same distance from Lancaster. Now Reading on the other hand...... We'll my gradmother lives up in McAdoo - So I'd make the trip up there also.

- Somehow, my ID/username ended up on the list. So, I guess that I may be up for the meet.
- One Note though: last week, my Niece was in a car accident - and she will be in and out of the hospital for operations - So, I am on standby to visit and provide assistance if needed - So, if something comes up with the family, that will be first.
- Anyhow, I was thinking - Some of the guys I work with, get together 3 or 4 times a year and go race at ARNOLD's Go-Karts in Oaks, PA - just up the road from King of Prussia. It's a great time if you can get several races in (which we do, for $60 a piece).
- Anyhow, maybe we could meet in King of Prussia (KOP Mall) and "hang out" a bit, then go to Arnold's for some indoor electric Kart racing (they go 25mph to 30mph and it feels like your going 50 mph, because you are so low to the ground).
- When we are done, we can stop off for a Beer or two.
- For those, traveling from "a far", King of Prussia and the KOP mall are pretty accessible - and if it's a Rainy weekend, we could always park (to talk and look at the cars) in the one of the "covered" levels of the KOP mall.
NOTE: I'm sure you all would not just want to meet and talk about Chargers for 1 hour then turn around and drive back home - So, if the Go-Kart idea is not good, then somebody come up with a good nearby strip-club :) .

Oh, hey - PaCharger, you are "in Charge" (or "in Charger").
So, when this meet becomes more official - You should probably "PM" me (and maybe the others) to let us know the details. When it's official, maybe we can get a Cell phone list (of all) or one person as the point of contact. :) Also, I can print up name badges if we need them :) .
- Right now, I believe that I am "OK" for the 10th or the 11th - Though, I'm "on call" for my Job, two weeks in December and right now I'm not sure if it's that week.

I'm good for KOP, it's a little hike, but I love driving my car.
I wish I had some more Delaware boys to convoy on up there with.
PACharger - Are you going to be heading down to Cecil County this Friday?
Maybe you could let me race your car since I'm sporting a 3.5. LOL
I'm going to try and make it. We'll see if I can convince my wife to go there instead of line dancing.
Yes - I said line dancing. Bring on the comments.

Just finished dinner, looked at wifey and said, "hey, mind if i go to the dragstrip Friday?" She looked, smiled...and I was ready for the backhand...and said, "sure, we don't have anything planned, why don't you call your buddy Tom and head down."

- That sounds like a good place to meet - I've never been there - I just looked it up and I see that they may have free "Wi-Fi" internet access - so bring your laptop with a wireless card and a webcam and we can do a web broadcast :) .
We can add that to the list (I guess it will be the first entry, under places to meet). Maybe my idea for the Go-Kart thing was a bit too much - I'm OK with "hanging" at a bar - as long as they server quality Micro-Brewed beer and they have pool tables and/or dart boards.
Ah, I just read a review for the "fox and hound" and they noted the following "......as well as local brews like Yards, Flying Fish and Victory". So, I'm OK with that place - "Yards" brand Mirco-Brewed beer (from Philly) is Top-Notch.

While I can't make a solid comittment to the 11th because of work issues I will most certainly see if I can manage to attend.
I would love to see (maybe beg a ride) the Hemi models of the Charger and see in person the mods some folks have chosen to install.

My wife is hosting a Baby shower at my house with about 40 women going to be there. So perfect opportunity to come out for the meet.
I've got to get the dog out of the house though. So I've got to find someone to watch the dog that day if I am going to make it out there.
Either that or bring the dog. I don't think the restaraunt will appreciate that too much. Not to mention I don't really want my dog in the car for that long or at all. My wife's Jeep is the designated DOG CAR. LOL

It's amazing what 2 inches of snow will do in a place where it doesn't snow all the time. My friend was on his way to work today on the PA turnpike at 6:30am, still dark. All of the sudden he came up on a Ford Explorer in the right lane stopped and pointed on an angle towards him and part way into the left lane! He barely was able to squeeze between it and the median (no time to come to a stop). The left lane was a mess compared to the right lane. He had passed some slower moving 2wd vehicles before this and was sure that one of them must have driven right into it.

Hey Charger Owners,
I hope you guys continue to do the meets for some time. I plan to move to Cheyney, PA within the year. When I am there, I'd love to participate in any gatherings. But right now, I'd hate to put a 6 hour trip on the Blackmobile.
Plus, I can't seem to not get stopped by cops. Something about this car makes me average 90 mph on highways. Anyone else have this problem?

OK fellas.
I've been thinking of some dates for possible meets. We could always do a day in Jan. like the 22cnd or the 29th.
I was also thinking of sometime between Feb 4-12 to meet up. This is the time of the Philadelphia Auto Show. We could meet before hand, then all head up to the Auto Show in a Charger convoy.
If we want to hit a weekend in Jan, I am good for the above dates. I'm leaning toward KOP since that worked for everyone last time. I think I'd be the only person coming from DE, so any further South would be unfair to others. It's only a 1.5 hr drive for me anyway, which would be nice. I rairly get to drive for fun and NOT in traffic.
Please - all suggestions welcome.
Thanks fellas.

Nice to see someone south of me making the trip.
You'll be passing right by me on the way up.
I'll keep this thread updated.
I'm in the Hagerstown, MD area. Let me know when a date and location are set, I'll try my best to make it.

I like the pHilly car show idea. The last weekend is okay on my calendar...the 4-6th is shot for me, and the weekend of the superbowl....

How about Saturday the 11th...say 11ish to 1ish meet in a parking area then go see some cars?
That's too far for me to go. I'll wait for one further west. Gettysburg, or Harrisonburg areas.

Saturday the 11th works for me also.
So far it's myself and PA in for the Auto show in Philadelphia. For anyone that has never been to an Auto show in Philly, it's a huge show. I recommend getting there as early as everyone is willing to meet so we can park together and try and beat some of the crowds.
Who else is in?

Good idea now that the weather is finally getting nice. Sundays are best for me. No imagination, no ideas though. .... Maybe at French creek State park.
