We are trying to work out a deal with DCX where we can submit a few questions to them and have them answered. Its not 100% sure, but we are going to give it a shot (so don't be disappointed if it falls through)
The questions should be in regard to the SRT line of vehicles, and specifically the SRT-8 300C and SRT-8 Charger.
Please reply to this thread with your question, I will send them to the correct representative at DCX.
Not all questions will be answered, it will be up to the SRT team to choose the questions they wish to answer.

T-56. You put one in the SRT-10 but not the much more popular and affordable SRT-8 Charger? C'mon, I see 300s as being auto-only but a dodge has to have a stick. At that level they'd sell 60 % atleast. That IS what its about..(sales, happy customers, racing, sites like this, clubs WORD OF MOUTH)..isnt it?

Any other color offerings to be given at a later point in time? Will the SRT rims, hood and front fascia be available (eventually) as options for the RT? Or, will the SRT 5-spoke rims be offered in smaller sizes?

Yeah, a six speed SRT-8 would be a M5 hunter at less than half the price...What about it?

How about a stronger rear end gear ratio, maybe like 3.55's instead of the 3.06's that come stock? Also, will a supercharger with intercooler running lower boost of about 7-8 lbs be safe to run on the 300c srt-8,and charger srt-8's, with their higher compression ratio and all? And will the tranny hold up with that extra horsepower and torque? Will there be mopar performance parts through DCX to max out even more performance on the srt-8's?Thank you!! JohnnyG

#1) Will there be a manual transmission? This is a serious sports sedan and needs one to compete.
#2) Will there be a rear spoiler delete option? IMO, the spoiler looks like a tack-on. The hood scoop looks well integrated, but the rear looks better clean shaven http://www.chargerforums.com/forums/newreply.php?do=newreply&noquote=1&p=3665#

#3) Refering to #1, when can I order my 6-speed SRT-8. If nothing else, how about sourcing MBs 7-speed auto with paddle shifters?

1 - is there a future tweaking the 6.1ltr for better performance?
2 - larger rear gears?
Have you considered offering the SRT with a Daytona Package (Special Paint Colors as well as interior accents)

Where can we get high performance torque converters?
Are you going to produce an ECM programmer? Or possibly give the aftermarket guys any help?
Are there any limited slip differentials available?
Will 15 inch rims fit over the rear brakes?

MD, no, not yet. You can give a delaer your money, but he cannot place an order in the system yet, it will not accept it.

basically thats what you can do. Im thinking about it.... once they get the green light you might have to rush down to get it ordered, if you preorder you can be on the top of the list. Im afraid that if they start getting too many orders, then the dealer will change thier mind and ask more than MSRP. I have gone to another dealer and they want MSRP+. I got one dealer here that will accept MSRP.

If questions are still open, which I doubt given the date of the orignal post, I've simply got to know two things:
1 - When, Dodge, WHEN? You can have my money as soon as an SRT-8 rolls into St. Louis.
2 - There has to be something I can do to shame some Mustangs. Those arrogant jerks have owned the road for a couple of years. 425 hp is not enough. Must ... have ... more ... Will there be the after-market stuff to make it possible?

Any plans for an AWD version or manual trans...kind of a poor man's version of an Audi RS6...that would make for a great lauch and better handling :)

I think the question session has had enough time to get your thoughts in, so I'm locking this thread and submitting them to DCX. I will keep everyone updated as to the status when I hear back from DCX.
