Hey guys and gals, I'm thinking of adding a Kenwood Nav/DVD head unit. I'm just not sure what the final look will be given the current bezel has the round outs for the stereo tuning knobs. Does anyone have an pictures of a DVD unit installed in their Charger? Any pics or input would be appreciated.

Well... the question is: Are you planning on a single din or double din head unit? A single din would use your existing bezel and a faceplate kit to fill the round holes.... Check this thread for pics of a dbl. din unit install

Well, I haven't heard of that term, so I'm not really sure what that is. Can you give me a brief explanation? Thanks for the link. I definately would NOT want the knob holes still there (even with a filler). It looks nice with the rectangle Nav bezel. I also will need to make sure my steering controls work.
Thanks again.

Ok, so the one I'm looking at is the Kenwood. DDX6019 in-dash DVD player
KNA-G510 navigation system.
I'll have to order the Nav bezel, and other than that the shop will handle the rest.
Thanks for the help, and the link to the other thread.

Unless you get the part your going to lose your steering wheel controls. So make sure the shop knows you still want your steering wheel controls.

a kenwood DVD/nav/sirius. They make boxes that are exactly like the stock radio. No fillers needed..

The pic you posted has what he said he doesnt want, the two half circles on the ends of the radio. He would need the Factory bezel fro the Navigation unit. which he already has been tiold. I love that unit you posted however it looks pretty damn sweet.

I have been looking at kenwood also, but I wanted to give you a heads up the 6019 is the older model, they just released the 7019 which has more features like a usb port to hook up any Mp3 player to the system and control it from the head unit. Then there is also the 8019 which is the exceleron version of the 7019, and there is one more above the 8019 the 7100 that has the navigation built into the system, no need for the dvd disc.
I have noticed a lot of places that are still selling he 6019, selling it for the same price as the 7019 and the 7019 has more features and is a newer model. Just wanted to make sure you new this.
