We are taking some time to sit back and evaluate ourselves and see what we could do to improve. We would like your help. If you dont mind, please respond with anything you have purchased from us, how you like it, what was your ordering experience like, what products would you like to see PPP carry(no tuning jokes). We want as much feedback as possible. Before and after dynos and track times would be great. Tell us what you think so that we can continue to improve.

On a side note, would anyone be interested in a Meet and Greet at Route6 motorsports in Richmond, VA. We could do a dyno day and then hit the track the following day. Please only respond in one forum, as I am trying to form a database with all of your screen names along with all of your mods.

Well, you asked. :)

I met Jeremy in person a couple times when he first got PPP rolling. We even spent a few hours at the black jack table, which was quite fun (HIT THOSE 12'S JEREMY!). I made a deposit that helped when the fine tuning on the Stroker was taking place. And I followed, as closely as time permitted, the first customers installation and tuning progress (trail blazers like GoDaddy & TNCharger).

Although I'm only half way through being a customer (ordered the full 426 stroker package, but had to finish the mods, body and paint work first) (which, of course, has taken way longer then planned), I do have a few suggestions:

1. Identify who are not gearheads and communicate accordingly.

2. Finish the web site, and compile a thorough FAQ page. Laymen like me have a myriad of dumb questions.

3. Address engine dress up, which could be another revenue stream. I know a few things I will do, or have done, and wonder if it's best to do so while the engine gets put back together (i.e. braided lines, custom painted valve covers, etc).

I know PPP is hopping, and Jeremy's bouncing all over the country, but customers like me (and maybe I'm the only one) have question's and concerns that shouldn't be overlooked. I've inquired about several things, but have never heard back. Lost in the shuffle, I suppose.

I guess what I'm saying is not everyone has the time to research the intricacies of such major modifications. Some, like myself, learn enough to know what they want, then look for the most trustworthy source to tune the plan and complete the job. Filling that need is a certain path to success. It has been for me in a similar endeavor. It can, and should be, for Power Ported Performance as well.

Mr Morgan <--hasn't had time to research torque converters or PLX Devices Display Module, but did luck out by not getting the TCM flashed.

On the side note: If the timing is right, I can do Richmond. I'm caravaning with Jeremy to the Columbus, OH M&G (if she's running, that is :)

As for the mods, when finished, the PPP side will be:

426 Hemi Street Legend Short Block (Billet Main Caps, Compstar Forged Crank, Mahle Coated Pistons -10.3:1)

6.1 Upgrades: CNC Port, Valve & 6.1 Castings; 2.08 xz 1.6 Valves; Titanium Retainers; Viton Valve Seals; Thermal Intake Gaskets; Polished Bee Hive Springs; 5/16 Chrome Molly Push Rods.

Ported & Polished Intake (Injector and Plenum areas) and upgraded Larger Injectors.

I communicated with Jeremy and Andy for a month or so before purchasing the 6.1L Maxx heads.

I decided to have the dealer install the heads (rather than myself) for a couple of reasons:
I have never taken apart a Chrysler engine before, I have only 7k miles and wanted the warranty to be as intact as possible on the rest of the motor, and I have an awesome service department at the dealer so if a problem occurred relating to the head install they would fix it.

Initial observations after a head only (no intake) swap:
The car feels "lighter." I didn't really notice any difference that I could say for sure below 3500 RPM or so, but after that the car definitely pulls harder. I am extremely happy with heads. Without having a dyno or track within many hours time from me it wasn't feasible to do before and after tests but just using what I can feel, I am sure there would have been documentable gains in torque. I live at 6800 feet altitude which is not the best place for flowing air!
I would do this exact same thing again knowing what I know now considering what I paid, the sevice I got and the gains I realized with the car. If I changed anything it would be a slightly bigger cam installed at the same time as the heads. The cam would have allowed the heads to show the potential that is definitely there.

Suggestions:
Get that website "high tech'd" up. Make all the links work, use spell check in a place or two ;) , and post tons of pics in different product areas.
Like MrMorgan said, occasionally it seemed Jeremy and Andy were very busy. I ALWAYS received a return phone call or email but sometimes it was a day or two later and you know how we all are...we expect INSTANT answers to EVERY question IMMEDIATELY!!!! :) Here is the answer: Buy a huge warehouse stocked with everything you sell, hire 4 full-time previously-trained persons, and set up a satellite business closer to the west coast...tomorrow :-P

To anyone considering upgrading their 5.7L and 6.1L motors...Jeremy and Andy seem to LOVE what they are doing and the enthusiasm is in everything they do. I will buy my future upgrades from them, period.

Here are a few pics:

Yowser, King, nice pics & cool little video. I need a piece of road like that. :) Great comments too, right on the mark. I was a little whiny the other day, but to update, Jeremy touched base, my Q's got A'd and everything is on schedule.

Let the stroking begin.

I am already looking at torque converters...sigh Looks like another batch of phone calls to Jeremy and Andy.

Look in the lower left corner for my flagrant disregard of the speed limit :)

You will like the convertor King...especially with DRs once the half-shaft upgrade comes out........Had you tested top speed before the heads?..170 is really good especially for your elevation..

Andy can handle a quick hijack ;)

I have had it above 160 a few times but never tried 170 so I am not sure where it would have topped out before the heads...and I agree about the elevation...poor for performance all else being equal. I actually did 172 or 173 before I shut it down :knockout:
I can definitely say the car just feels lighter or smoother or whatever you want to call it after the heads. I am an idiot for not doing a cam while everything was already apart.

B&G II is right around the corner and your video is the reason for the converter so...I figure around a 50/50 split on $$$...that sound good for you? I use Paypal.

(ok, if you can tell me who was on the radio I'll let you slide)
