I am pretty interested in the shaker hood for the Charger R/T..

A) Does this system REPLACE my Cold Air Intake?
B) Does the air get rammed into the Intake?
C) What is the Group Buy cost?
D) What is included? When I purchase, specifically what do I receive in the box?
E) Instructions?? :)
F) Can we order it painted? if so at what cost?

If most of the answers are good, I might be sold - finally!

A) Does this system REPLACE my Cold Air Intake?
- This kit utilizes the factory Air Box. It is made to marry and seal up to the top of the factory box, so you could use it with an aftermarket intake but all it would be doing is dumping out cooler air on your open filter unless you can fabricate an assembly that seals the intake system you have.

B) Does the air get rammed into the Intake?
- The air does get rammed into the shaker. The increase in pressure isn't that great and from what I've been told, the majority of the gains from this kit come from the cold air you will be drawing in and not from the ram air aspect. CDC says you will get up to a 4% increase in power. I would say 10 to 12 horsepower over stock, so you get an awesome look plus a decent performance gain that is equivalent with the gains from the intakes like the Typhoons.

C) What is the Group Buy cost?
- Our prices are lower than what we can publicly advertise so I will need everyone to pm me for pricing.

D) What is included? When I purchase, specifically what do I receive in the box?
- This kit comes with everything needed to install the kit yourself, minus the tools. It has the shaker assemby, the scoop, the engine cover, the trim rings for the top of the hood and the bottom of the hood, all of the brackets and templates and the airaid assembly that converts your factory flat panel filter into a cone filter.

E) Instructions??
- The kit comes with instructions but I will post a pdf version of them shortly. Installation time should be about 4 hours, not including the painting time.

F) Can we order it painted? if so at what cost?
- The kits come unpainted, but primered. The shaker and the trim rings are primered and the engine cover comes texture coated black but I was told that we can special request them to send out the engine covers unfinished, too, if you want to paint it, too. These kits are thick fiberglass, so any normal acrylic paint will work - even out of a spray can. The paint does not need to be 'High Heat' and no flex agent is needed because these are so sturdy.
