The place I made the appointment with is 130 miles away and uses a Mustang Dyno. There is a place alot closer but has a Dynojet.
Do I take the drive? Is there a big difference?

Tested the car on the Dynojet today.
It made 292-294 hp and 320 tq. This is with the Jet 2 chip and a K&N drop in filter. After I do the exhaust I will go back.

Thanks for the info. I'd guess that the K&N probably added 0 HP so I'd be curious what it would show without the Jet chip. Seems to be some controversy about how much they add. I'd bet you'd be well over 300hp with an exhaust.

cold air intake might not be a bad mod for you to consider....exhaust and chip...optimize.

I've been wanting to get the car dynoed again since I had the exhaust done and now it's almost a year since the first time. I went to the same place and thought I went on a similar weather day.

Aside from the exhaust the only other differences are:
Royal Purple oil
Home made CAI
Relocated IAT sensor (see first pic below)

Last year it made 294 rwhp & 320 rt. When the guy brought up last years numbers it showed 285 rwhp & 307 rwt because the computer corrected them based on yesterdays weather. Had the software not compensated for this I would have thought the car made 9 hp less than what it showed if I compared it to the last numbers.
I had the guy make 4 pulls

Max hp 305.............+ 20hp
Max tq 337.............+ 30fptq
I'm happy

The 4th pull I put on my CAI extension (see second pic) that I used at E-Town to make my 13.90 run. What a surprise!!!!! I lost a few hp?
