Need to vent...For the most part people marvel over the new charger. However I have run into people who say they hate the charger because of the four doors...Frankly I see what they are driving and they are just full of envy. The only two cars that have any semblance of muscle are the Charger and the Mustang...I'll take the Charger any day...I hope I am not alone on this... Any good responses for these morons?:mad:

I've had only a handful of people tell me they hate it because it has four doors. I've made all of them go for a ride in it. After the ride consisting of melting tires, excessive acceleration, sharp curves and hard braking that will turn you pale white, they have all found a new respect for my muscle sedan...

It's pretty cool when you take someone for a ride. They are always looking for the Oh Sh** handle thats not there. I tell em it wouln't help at the speeds we were going...

Those must be the same folks that don't like the new GTO cause it's not retro enough. Same with the people who dislike the Charger cause it has 4 doors. You like your car and that's what really matters, everyone will have an opinion on your car.

The name or amount of doors doesn't change the fact that it's a great car, those new age muscle car haters need to wake up and realize it's not 1970 anymore.

I dont give a rats a$$ what people say about the 4 doors. I've owned 2 door cars my whole life. My 2005 300 was my first 4. The room and the pleasure of NOT getting out of the drivers seat to let someone out was like a dream. When I seen the Charger... yea I noticed 4 again... sold. I think its a better car for it.

I'd just tell em that's why I bought it. If I wanted a coupe, I'd get a GTO or Mustang. I like both of those cars a good deal. But they're too small.

also VERY smart that dodge made it 4 doors, now when they(if they) come out with a new Challenger the Charger wont be in dicrect compation with it. You want a 4 door, charger, 2 door, challenger.

I'm very easily paying off my car, should be fully paid off next summer, then I can put even more into my home loan. So don't look forward to buying a pre-owned GTO from me.

So based on this attitude of yours, anyone who has a car payment is in danger or the repo guy huh, I'm sure your fellow Charger owners with payments will appreciate that. :rolleyes:

I don't look down on people w/ a payment, I'm just not going to buy a car to re-sell it.
