Took a spin through the build page at Dodge to see what, if anything, was new. Surprised that the Comfort Seating Group package with leather trimmed seating, adjustable pedals, heated seats, etc is now gone. Adjustable pedals is still available separately, but no other seating options than cloth. Anyone know if this is a short term thing or was there just not enough interest for them to continue offering it?

When I bought my SXT I was told that the leather seats were not available.
I did have an aftermarket job done by Katzkin (http://www.katzkin.com/05/FC/mainFS.html). The work was excellent and looked far better then the leather in an SRT that I looked at.
You might check the website to see if this is right for you.
Katzkin seems to be national, but the work was done locally.
My seats were set up as part of the "deal", with me pre-selecting the colors. Prior to installation, these guys came out to the house to show me the swatches again to confirm my choices.
I had the car back is less then 48 hours.

Are you guys serious?
Geez, my SXT has leather. In fact, when I bought my SXT there was a cool vanilla SXT with leather, sunroof, driver and passenger power seats, windows, locks, GPS, YES GPS, heated seats and rear DVD, sunroof, sirius radio. It was weird, since I though that some of these options were only available on the R/T. Man, I think that leather not being available on the SXT is a website problem. Most SXT's I have seen have leather.

many places still show the leather as an option o_O
I don't want leather cuz I'm a leather guy! I want leather because the cloth reminds me too much of the mustangs our driving school had.. and I really didn't like that cloth :|
Well that, and our current car has gray cloth.. I want either black leather or white leather :D

LOL Well I like it when when the car is iced over and I have to rush to work. My last car didn't have that option and I would drive 25 miles before I stopped shivering!

[The interior pics here show an SXT with leather.. hey just wondering but are your instrument dials silver on the edge or just plain like the SE ones? I was looking at that and was hoping the SXT ones were silver and such]...

You DO NOT have to get the heated seats to get leather. The Dodge website is screwed up, I have seen a ton of SXTs with leather and not heated seats
PS - Trim is silver

Oooh cool you're right!
(to pick hairs here) -- leather alone works on SXT but requires comfort seating group on the SE.
I still think maxed out is the way to go anyway :D If only they made the electronics group for them v6 cars ;)

I didn't think that i'd like heated seats at first but after the first cold snap here I love 'em. I'm wondering just how much of an effect the heat will have on the leather and if I should start applying conditioner now ??

.. should start applying conditioner now ??
Regardless of the heated seat option I would apply conditioner from day one. I have had several cars with leather and always use conditioner from the start. The leather keeps its good looks....btw Meguires Foam conditioner seems to do a great job.

Keep them clean and condition fequently. Avoid direct sunlight as much as possible, for the UV and the extreme heat that builds iterior temps.
Personally I like Meguiares Leather Foam or Eagle Leather Conditioner (hand cream style)
The leather in my cars typically look "almost" new even after 3 to 5 years of use. There will always be some creases but you can keep the color from fading or "cracking" by regular cleaning and conditioning.

Bought the wife a Silver Charger with the SXT upgrade and stone gray leather package upgrade.
Here in Hawaii one dealer said leather was only going to be availabe on the higher models so we bought it from a competition dealer that had the options we wanted
