Well I did it. I am picking up my SXT Black pearl coat tomorrow! I can't wait, I even managed to talk the dealer down $1500 under invoice! I can't wait to pick her up tomorrow.

I brought her home tonight! I can't wait until tomorrow to show her off. I bought the SXT, wanted the R/T but momma wouldn't let me! But hey I still got the SXT though!

Now I have to squeeze in a couple of mods!

I've had the car over a month now and not have done any mods.
I'm such a loser. That "budget cop" runs a tight ship.

I guess I'm a loser too. Other than tinted windows, I have done nothing to the car. I want to get some nice wheels but my fiance doesn't think I need them.

But I have to say, even if I never do anything else...I LOVE MY CAR!!!! :happy:

Luckily I got the R/T wheels. It just kind of happened that way. I wasn't shopping for them.
I'll be getting my windows tinted soon also. I'll have the car for a while so I'm really in no rush to do a lot to it now. Not to mention the longer I wait the more accessories will become available.

Fiance'? When are you getting married?

My wife tightened the $$$$ reins once we got married. It's all "OURS" now. That's ok though - we just moved into a beautiful home so I'm ok not doing a lot to the car for now.

I know I shouldn't be in such a rush. I got the car Oct 16...haven't even had it a month yet. But you guys are making me crazy with all the stuff!!!

We've been engaged for a year now with no plans to get married but he's starting to talk about it more. I figure if I don't nag him about it, he'll be more willing to do it! :wink:

And it's funny...I want to do all these mods to my car (notice...MY car) and he doesn't. Isn't it usually the other way around?

I let my wife drive the car - then I took the ESP off and had her light the tires up and get the rear end loose. You should have seen the smile on her face. I was hoping that would help with pushing the mods along.

He's got 2 cars. An '85 CJ-7 Jeep and a '72 Firebird (original owner of the bird). He's got nice wheels on both cars...nothing real fancy though.

I think he's afraid of theft. One of our friends had their wheels stolen twice, the second time they took the whole car.

My dealer did not include wheel locks -- and I got the R/T rims on my car. I can't believe that.
I didn'ti think to look till about a week after I bought it. I wish I would have thought about it before I bought it.
Now I've got to buy them on my own.

I have the R/T wheels on mine also. I figured I would buy the locking lugs myself since I took a few weeks of nagging the sales guy and managed to talk them down from $28310 to $23400! I think they were happy to see me drive away so I wouldn't keep comming in with my Edmonds bible negotiating. LOL

I Have the SXT with the comfort seating and 6 disc CD. I wish it had the comfort Pack II so I could put the automatic lights on and a couple of the added options. I am happy with it none the less and I'm sure I'll be able to sneak in a couple of mods in under the radar. I'm thinking the grill and tint here first. I have to remove the dealer "Advertisement" and possibly the V6 emblems. Not sure if I am going to put a spoiler on, never was a fan of them. I'm sure you folks will help me come up with a couple of ideas!

I took all the lettering off so far. I think the Rams head is going to come off the back tonight. I wan to wash it also tonight, but it's already dark out and I'm still at work. I may have to suck it up and wash it anyway.

I think the car looks Super clean without those badges on.

Yeah - I agree i do wish I could install the Autolights also.

I have already ordered the Airraid intake for mine from HHP, Inc.
I am going to go with Zoomer's exhaust and stage 2 jet chip when I have more money. No real rush cause I am still stuck on this floating gas station carless!!
