Hey all,
Any north florida, south georgia peps interested in going to the race track this weekend. I have never been to Gainsville and have a reason to go now. Let me know.\

If i remeber right they have a test and tune night at the race ways there. I think it was like a small fee for all the runs you can make on the track. But that was a few years ago. There is also a track in J-ville which is closer to me. I have yet to go there and run her on the track. I need to before any modding to get a base line.

You know Pecan Park closed. He sold to a invester, going to build houses on the old track. There is zoning signs up on the fence. I live up the street and could here them on friday and saturday nights, but not any more. This is a shame, there will be no place to go in N.E Florida to watch or race. The nearest drag strip I think is Gaineville now. The whole northside of Jville is turning into a big construction site. This is where I grew up and I went to Pecan park all the time in my younger years. The track was changed to a 1/8th mile track quite a few years back but it kept some of the street racing down when it was opened.
