Durability of carbon hood?

John, I'm seriously considering the carbon srt hood but my question is how does the durabiliy and strength of the carbon fiber compare to stock hoods? Will the carbon hood start to haze or yellow after time? I really appreciate any help!

If you keep it clean and waxed it will last for the life of the car. If you keep it dirty and park it in the sun 24 hours a day it will start to turn yellow in about 3 years. It gets as yellow as it is going to get in 5 years. But, like I said if you keep it clean and waxed and garaged it will last forever.

Thanks for the info. I absolutely love the looks of the carbon fiber! Just curious but does anyone have a picture of the carbon hood on a silver Charger? Thanks.
