OK first update

One thing that is a go, is the presentation of fnckychkn's Guest Book, that is presently making it's way around North America and Maybe the World.

This book that will be signed by many of you members will be presented to Pete at the M&G.

I have also decided to hold the M&G at the same location.

Before I decide whether or not to invite vintage Mopars (LH's are still welcome), I will see how many people will be attending.

Stay tuned for more updates...

We Have Sponsers

So far we have

HammerMotorSports
Power Ported Performance
Billet Technology

Sign me up, pen me in, count me in.....

I dunno if I'll be dancing next door at Bourbon's however. Usually, when I put on my best Jon Travolta moves, women flock to me in droves. I really don't wanna start anything with any of the other members....

It's an awfully long drive for me (about 30 minutes) but I think I'll be able to make the supreme sacrifice to be there. LOL!

I missed last year's get-together because something really messed up happened around that weekend, if I recall, and I didn't actually have an LX yet. LOL!

There's a silly question. :)

I shot an amateur hockey final a month ago... 1500 shots at 12 megapixels each photo. I think I can take a few at this gathering. :)

Great to hear, and I have a meeting with mother nature soon, wish me luck.

Last year it rained everyday for two weeks leading up to the event, at noon the day of the event, the skys cleared and was perfect weather.

Wait a minute... I can provide the camera. But the talent is an entirely different thing!

It's a great hobby. The learning curve is very aggressive... always something to learn.

Question. Is the track at Napierville reserved for Chargers only on Sunday, or can I bring another toy as well? I've been meaning to retime my truck using shorter tires, hoping to get into the low-mid 13's...

Yes you can bring your other toy as well to Napierville

The track is open to everyone, but we show up early to be able to get as many runs as possible before more crowds show up.

But we get to run our cars together.

I'm not sure how many from this forum went last year, so I thougth I'd mention that it was a really good time and I don't think there were near as many cars either. It's really worth the trip....

I'm still planning on going to the supper at least, not quite sure about the track on Sunday, though. GF's busting my couillons, wants to go see sis in Ontario. As well, my truck's being stripped for a paint job.
Still on for supper at the least, though!

actually a couple more speed traps on the way to Ile Perrot.......

if you come from the West Island (Highway 20), after Saint Anne de Bellevue were it says 70 drive not as fast as well....the Cops like to place sometimes a few Cruisers on the end of the Overpass......if you cut over from the 40 to the 20 in Saint Anne's, when you reach the Firestation.....make a STOP, Cop sits sometimes beside the building and you don't see him very well!!
if you come from the west on the 20, through Vaudreuil/Dorion and it says 50......drive 60 to be on the save side....I know how it feels when you blow for a little bit on the Highway and all off the sudden there is a Sign with 50 on, that you don't feel like it at all, but Cruisers are checking the speed right after the bend!!!!! When you made it finally trough Dorion and you go over the overpass toward Ile Perrot....70 is the limit...Speed trap after the Overpass!!!!!

Basicly....if you come close to Ile Perrot get you heavy foot off the Gas!!!!!!!

so good luck to everyone....see you all on Saturday!!!!!!

TopBanana107

Good to know about all the speed traps! I don't get that way often...unless I go to Akwesasne, then i have to pass that way. I'll be coming in from the South Shore...over the Mercier Bridge...I'm from Kahnawake. You know that place?

hades
05-19-2007, 10:41 PM
yes, i do.....sometimes when I come back from Quebec City I drive through Kahnawake when Cartier Bridge is to full, like it was a couple of weeks ago as in the Tunnel a car was burning and on Cartier Bridge was an accident, it was just a huge mess to get on to the Montreal Island and you have to deal with all that after you drive straight home after nighshift.....no fun!!!!!

TopBanana107
05-19-2007, 11:05 PM
I hear you...I work up in Laval a couple of days every week , and I encounter crazy traffic! I also work in the Eastern Township the 3 other days of the week, so the drive is NICE! There's nothing more aggravating than sitting in traffic, when your right foot is wanting to tromp the gas!
