Do I need a "radio dash kit" of some kind to install a double din dvd player with touch screen? I'm guessing it just goes like the factory radio, using the same holes on the inside frame. I'm also guessing I will need a factory navigational trim?

the factory navigational trim you def need, but when i consulted an audio expert he told me i need special harness to connect it to my car, he said it will cost me about 80 bucks...

Yeah, I know about the harness, I was just making sure I have everything when the radio gets here next weekend. Thanks!! I'm about to put an order for the nav trim.

You will need this kit to install a double din radio. I just ordered one for my Pioneer Z-1 install.

Metra part number is 99-6510

Hey, good looking out man!! Thanks! I just placed an order along with the XM tuner and adapter from the same place. Hopefully everything will get here by this weekend when I have some time to install them.

I got the JVC KW-AVX706 which is not a touch screen like I though, but have everything I need basically, for cheapo also. Let's see how long it lasts though, lol.

I also ordered an interface for my ipod video. So I'm hoping to free all the extra equipment from my dash and console, to the new head unit. All I need now is a screen for the back so my daughter can watch movies.
