Mopar Ipod Kit Problem Question

Ok so I bought the new Mopar Ipod integration kit that allows you to use your steering wheel controls etc. Well install went great. Plugged in my Ipod and all I am getting is Music from the left side of my car. I go to FM CD and Sat and getting sound from all speakers. Is anyone else with the IPOD kit having the same problem or is this isolated and I got a bad unit? I didn’t really expect to have only left sided sound from a kit that cost $225. Any help is appreciated.

i dont know what the problem could be but what number kit are you using. THE REASON IM ASKING IS IM LOOKING TO GET ONE OF THESE KITS TOO DO YOU HAVE DVD ALSO? JUST WONDER WHAT THE IPOD RUNS THROUGH

I have the stock REC Nav unit. and I have the new Ipod Integration kit part number 82209617 from Mopar.

I'm not having this problem and not sure what it could be. I would check to make sure all the wiring plugs are fully inserted.

I have checked twice and all plugs are in place guess I got a bad one. Will have to make a apt with the stupid dealership to see if I can get it resolved I guess.

sorry i said that wrong which function on the radio does it run through. i have sat, and dvd just was wondering if it would work since im taking up both ports

Actually there is only one port on the back of the radio for SAT/VES. Connections for SAT and VES seem to daisy chain together the best I can tell. This adapter includes a Y-Harness to daisy chain in the iPod. The iPod plays thru the SAT by emulating the SAT somehow.
